The Zambia Road Safety Trust (ZRST) is the leading non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to building a safer and more sustainable transportation system in Zambia. We are driven by a profound concern for the lives lost and injuries sustained due to preventable road accidents, disproportionately impacting vulnerable groups like pedestrians, cyclists, and school children... In the heart of Lusaka, Zambia, the Zambia Road Safety Trust (ZRST) initiated a significant project known as the Reduce Speeding initiative. Made possible with support from Vital Strategies…... Our vision is a Zambia where every journey is safe, sustainable, and accessible to all. We achieve this through collaborative partnerships with government agencies, private sector entities, local communities, and other NGOs. We actively participate in policy discussions and advocate for change to improve road safety regulations and infrastructure.
