Megan is the Administrator/Clinical Director of our ambulatory surgery center team. She supervises the clinical and clerical staff in addition to supervising the daily operations of the center. Megan is also responsible for staff development, orientation, and evaluation.
Megan has been a registered nurse for 22 years. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Ohio University Zanesville in 2001. She also received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Ohio University Athens in 2015. In addition, Megan has Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
Megan has previously worked in medical/surgical nursing, but most of her career she has worked in the operating room as a circulating nurse. She has administrative experience as a nurse manager at a surgery center. Prior to coming to InSight, she spent many years working in an ambulatory surgery center setting. Megan's role has varied from staff nurse, preceptor, charge nurse to administrator.
Ross C. Bloomberg, M.D., is a native of Worthington, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University where he received a Bachelors Degree Magna Cum Laude in environmental science. He also was a member of the Gamma Sigma Delta National Honor Society. Dr. Bloomberg graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2003 where he received honors in several rotations including ophthalmology.
Dr. Bloomberg completed his ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. As a senior resident, he was awarded the Humanism in Ophthalmology Award for quality and humanitarian eye care. Dr. Bloomberg then pursued a year of Fellowship training at the University of Toledo with special emphasis on cataract surgery, multifocal implants, refractive surgery (including laser vision correction) and anterior segment disorders of the eye.
Dr. Bloomberg is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of many professional organizations including:

On a personal note, Dr. Bloomberg is an avid Buckeye and Columbus Blue Jacket fan and tries to attend all home Buckeye football games. He also enjoys the outdoors, his kids sports, disc golf, camping, and skiing with his family.
Tara oversees the business and financial operations of the practice as well as physician credentialing, managed care contracting, employee benefits, payroll, accounts payable, billing, and various other duties for Eye Surgery Associates. She is also the business manager for InSight Surgery & Laser Center, LLC.
Tara is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
