Alex Zimmer is a fifth generation Zimmer in the Property and Casualty Insurance business at Zimmer Insurance Group.
He was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and a graduate from Southwest High School. He continued his studies at Southeast Community College in Business Administration. Received Associate in Insurance Production from Independent Insurance Agent & Brokers of America, Inc.
He has been a licensed agent for over 6 years specializing in Auto, Home and Business Insurance. He contributes his success to working hard for his clients to find the best coverage at the most competitive price, and always making recommendation that are in the clients best interests.
Alex enjoys hunting, fishing, snowboarding, and wakeboarding in his free time.
Betty started as a receptionist with Zimmer Insurance Group on May 29th, 2007 and continues as the receptionist today. She answers the phone, greets our customers, files documents and is in charge of the mail.
Betty enjoys ballroom, swing, and country line dancing. She also enjoys visiting people at Madonna, along with volunteering for the Charlie Brown Kids. Betty also takes interest in snowmobiling, dirt biking, and water-skiing.

Christi Whalen started as a receptionist with Zimmer Insurance Group in 1986 and became a licensed insurance agent in 1987. By 1991 she received the Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) designation and specialized as a Personal and Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative. In 1996 Christi received the Outstanding Customer Service Representative of Nebraska Award and later that year moved in to full time property & casualty insurance sales.
Dave joined Zimmer Insurance Group in 2004 and has over 38 years of industry experience. He takes pride in hands-on personal service for all clients in meeting their commercial and personal insurance needs.
Dave has an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and is dedicated to insurance education, he has obtained the designations: Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS).

Deb has been a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance agent and employed with the Zimmer Insurance Group since 1984. During this time she has held positions in customer service, office management and is now the current President of Zimmer Insurance Group.
She has served on the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska from 1993-1999 and has received many awards for her work with the Association. She studied through the Insurance Institute of America and has completed her Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation in 1986 and the Associate in Automation Management (AAM) designation in 1996. She has also served on Insurance Agents Advisory Committees for different insurance companies that the agency represents to help further the working relationships between companies and insurance agencies in our industry.
She enjoys the relationships she has built with her staff, customers and companies over the years and is always kept busy trying to keep up with the daily changes in the insurance industry and the technology that it all evolves within today.
John Zimmer, III retired in 2002 and sold Zimmer Insurance Group to his key producers. Today Christi T. Whalen, J. Greg Zimmer & William T. Zimmer own and operate Zimmer Insurance Group.
