Andres Viernes

Job Titles:
  • Superintendent
Andres moved to Colorado from Hawaii in 2000 and started his construction career with Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2005. Andres holds several certifications including OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid, Hilti, Scaffolding Inspection and Fall Protection. He has completed the AGC Supervisory Training Program and is currently enrolled in Portocol Management Leadership Program. Andres was promoted to Superintendent in 2016 and the projects that he is most proud to be a part of McGregor Square (2020), 1144 15 th Street (2015) and 100 Steele (2014). He enjoys relaxing at home with his family.

Bill Brooks

Job Titles:
  • Senior Estimator
At 12 years old, Bill started working for his father's construction company during the summer. In 1983, after 20 years of field experience, Bill moved into progressive construction estimating. Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing was excited to bring him on board in 2019 as our Senior Estimator. Bill is a certified Welder in Pipe - 1G, 2G, 5G & 6GR, Plate 1G-4G and SMAW & Submerged Arc. STI certified in Engineering Judgements, Wireless Communication, Firestopping Requirements & Perimeter Fire Containment. He also has Appreciation Awards from City of San Francisco for seismic structural design of the "Conservatory of Flowers" (oldest botanic garden in the USA) and City of Westwood CA for structural/architectural design of Architectural/Ornamental metal within UCLA. In Bill's spare time he enjoys building Resto-Mod Muscle Cars.

Bill Wren

Job Titles:

Bill started his Waterproofing career in 1985 and he came to Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2011. He has completed the AGC Supervisory Training Program and is currently enrolled in Portocol Management Leadership Program. He has Lift Pro, Fall Protection Inspection, OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid certifications and is trained in STI firestopping, Scaffolding Inspection, Spider Suspended Access, Fork Lift, Hilti gun operations, and Signaling/Rigging. Bill has been a Superintendent with ACW since 2014 and the projects that his is most proud to be a part of are Red Square (2016), Morning Star (2014-2015) and Master Magnetic Castle Rock (2020). Bill is an avid sports fan and enjoys going on long bike rides.

Brandon Mueller

Brandon is a Colorado native that started his construction career in 2007 and moved into Waterproofing in 2014. He came to Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing 2017. He is OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certified and is currently enrolled in Portocol Management Leadership Program and has completed the AGC Supervisory Training Program. Brandon was promoted to Superintendent in early 2020 and the projects that he is most proud to be a part of are The Stella (2021), McGregor Square (2020) and 1144 15 th Street (2017). He is an avid fisher and a proud Bronco fan.

Eddie Martinez

Job Titles:
  • Quality Control Manager
Eddie started his waterproofing career with Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2007. He is a Portocol Management Leadership Program graduate. He received the ASAC Safety Field Professional of the Year two years in a row. Eddie was born and raised in Colorado. He and his wife have five children and they enjoy spending the weekends rooting on the Broncos.

Garrett Cordova

Job Titles:
  • Estimator
Garrett started his construction career in 2010 and went into waterproofing in 2012. He came to Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2014 and in 2017 he was promoted to Superintendent. He is a certified C/S Group Installer, and has certifications for OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid. He has completed the AGC Supervisory Training Program and is currently enrolled in Portocol Management Leadership Program. A few projects that he is proud to be a part of are Google Phase II (2018), McGregor Square (2020), and Anschutz (2021). Garrett joined our estimating team in 2024 after completing the Construction Management Estimating Certificate program through ACC. As a Colorado Native, Garrett is a proud fan of the Broncos, Rockies and Nuggets. He enjoys going to music festivals and traveling.

Jonathan Hochman

Job Titles:
  • Estimator
Jonathan started his construction career with Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in the summer of 2012. He was an apprentice and then journeyman all while he completed his Civil Engineering degree at the University of Colorado. In 2014, he was promoted to Estimator. In 2008, Jonathan moved to Colorado from New Jersey. He is an avid Nuggets fan and enjoys spending his time skiing, hiking, rock climbing and disc golfing.

Kari Allman

Job Titles:
  • Account Manager
Kari moved to Colorado from Minnesota in 2016. Her father owed and ran a bridge contracting company, so she's been around construction her entire life. She worked for the family business until her dad retired. Kari came to Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2019. She is a mother of three and the partner to one amazing Irishman. She enjoys watching her children play sports, garden, cook and travel.

Kelly Townsend

Job Titles:

Kelly started his waterproofing career in 1992 and he came to Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2014. He has completed the AGC Supervisory Training Program and is currently enrolled in Portocol Management Leadership Program. Kelly has been a Superintendent with ACW since early 2015 and the projects that he is most proud to be a part of are CDOT New Headquarters (2016), 99 South Broadway (2018) and Ball Aerospace AMC Expansion (2017-2021). Kelly has three children and three grandchildren.

Kyler Bejarano

Job Titles:
  • Estimator
Kyler is a Colorado native that came to Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing as a 3rd Generation Waterproofer in 2012. In 2014, he joined the military and came back to ACW in 2018 as Journeyman. He has his OSHA 30 certification. He was promoted to Estimator in 2021. Kyler is currently enrolled at Metropolitan State University working on his B.A. in Construction Project Management with a minor in Business.

Lyle Hackenberg

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Lyle is a Colorado native that began his career at the age of 18 working for a roofing contractor, and then hired on with ACW in 2007. He has spent the majority of my career in the Division 7 industry, starting as a laborer and working my way up to Field Superintendent. In 2020 he made the jump to the general contractor world where he spent 3 years as a site superintendent building K-12 schools in Northern Colorado. He holds several certificates in many applications including C/S Group Master Installer and OSHA 30. In his free time, he enjoys golf, stock car racing, fishing, bourbon collecting and spending time with friends and family.

Mark Romero

Job Titles:

Mark started in the construction industry in 2006 as a roofer, he moved to waterproofing in 2008 and came to Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in early 2009. He has completed the AGC Supervisory Training Program and is currently enrolled in Portocol Management Leadership Program. Mark holds several certifications including OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid, Signaling and Rigging, Scaffolding and Fall Protection. He is a certified installer of Watson Bowman and GCP products. In 2012, Mark was promoted to Superintendent and the two projects that he is most proud of are 1144 15 th Street (2015) and UCCS Sports Parking Garage (2019). Mark is a Colorado native who enjoys spending time outdoors, when he's working and especially when he's not.

Nicholas Williams - COO

Job Titles:
  • Director of Operations
Nicholas started his construction career with Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2009. He has bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and English from CU Boulder as well as a certificate in Business and Project Management from World of Concrete. Nicholas is a former Board President of American Subcontractor's Association of Colorado (ASAC) and chaired the ASAC Health and Safety Committee for 7 consecutive years. He has recently became chair of the Associated General Contractor Metal Health Working Group. When Nicholas isn't working or donating his time to industry associations, he loves spending time with his family traveling the world.

Rick Gonzalez

Job Titles:

Rick started his construction career with Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2015. Rick is a Certified applicator of Deneef grouting products. He is also OSHA 10 and CPR certified and is currently enrolled in Portocol Management Leadership Program. Rick was promoted to Superintendent in 2018 and the projects that he is most proud to be a part of are Z Block (2015) and 17 th & Wewatta (2016). He is a Colorado native who is a huge Steelers fan.

Robert Burger

Job Titles:
  • Field Operations Manager
As a Colorado native, Robert started his waterproofing career in 2006 and he came to Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in early 2011. He has his OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid Certifications. Robert is a certified C/S Group, MM Systems, and Watson Bowman Expansion Joint Installer. He has completed the AGC Supervisory Training Program and is a Portocol Management Leadership Program graduate. Robert is a parent of two active boys. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with this family creating memories and going on new adventures.

Sal Arzate

Job Titles:

Sal is a Texas native that started his construction career in New Mexico in 2005. He moved to Colorado in 2014 and started working for Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2015 and was promoted to Superintendent in 2016. Sal holds several certifications including OSHA 10, Hilti, Forklift Safety, CPR/First Aid, Foreman Training, Fall Protection, Lead Training, and GCP Preprufe. He has completed the AGC Supervisory Training Program and is currently enrolled in Portocol Management Leadership Program. The projects that Sal is most proud to be a part of are: Colorado Center Tower III (2016), Lakehouse (2017), and 355 Logan (2018). Sal spends his free time with family camping, fishing and 4-wheeling.

Sarah Deering - VP

  • Vice President
Sarah joined Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing in 2022. She holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from MSUD and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Denver. After spending time in the field installing products, Sarah trained as an estimator and now supports ACW through her VP role. She is active in her community, particularly as an advocate for animal and human welfare. Having worked in small businesses since 2010, she is distinctly aware of how much opportunity there is, and she is excited to bring her skills and experiences to our team as a champion for Inclusion and belonging. With her husband and rescue dogs, Sarah spends any free time she can find enjoying time with friends and family, and all that Colorado has to offer.

Scott Deering

Scott started his construction career in 1979 working for a caulking contractor, while he attended college at night. On August 6, 1996, Scott started Absolute Caulking & Waterproofing Inc. in the basement of his house. Working through the day, and bidding through the night, he eventually grew the company into a multi-state contractor employing dozens of talented people. Scott has been active with American Subcontractor Association of Colorado for many years, served as Board President for two terms and currently Chairs the Legislative Advocacy Committee. At 2 years old, Scott's family moved to Colorado from Minnesota. He spends his free time skiing, mountain biking and scuba diving.
