Mark Shearer

Mark has been employed in the environmental field for over 25 years. Mark began his career as a hazardous waste site technician before moving on to operations, disposal and project management at a mid-sized industrial environmental company in the Baltimore-Washington DC area. Mark was responsible for the development and implementation of hazardous waste programs at several key industrial, medical, academic and government sites. These sites include Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, NAVFAC (Southern DC Region), USDA 9Beltsville, MD) and NIST. Currently Mark is responsible for the management of the hazardous waste division at Ace. Additionally, he is Ace's Disposal Coordinator and Safety/Compliance Manager. Rick Rasmussen

  • Operations Consultant
Rick is an environmental professional with over 25 years of experience working for several small and mid-sized environmental remediation companies in the Baltimore/Washington region. After completing a Bachelor's degree in environmental science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Rick started as a dispatcher and worked his way up to Project Manager and Operations Manager before deciding to start his own business along with his coworker and friend. ACE Environmental was formed in 2004 to provide customers with hands-on, knowledgeable and value added experience. The company enjoyed controlled growth for 14 years until in 2018 ACE Environmental was sold to ACE Environmental Holdings. After a little time off, Rick has returned to assist with the development of the company. In his free time Rick can be found coaching or watching one of his four kids play sports or on the golf course.

Shannon Cihlar

Shannon Cihlar has worked in the environmental field for more than 15 years. Shannon is our primary Project Manager for residential services working directly with homeowners on projects like removing underground & above-ground tanks, providing emergency clean-up services for spills, or remediating the area that these spills have impacted. Qualifications Underground Tank Course with MDE, TWIC, HAZWOPER Certification, CPR and Confined Space Entry Certification.

Tim Wise

Tyler Schisler

Job Titles:
  • Operations Coordinator
Tyler joined our team in 2019 starting as a field technician, but quickly elevated to Foreman, then Supervisor and finally Operations Coordinator in 2022. His 7+ years' experience in the environmental industry, partnered with his specialization in UST/AST removals/installation and confined space entry cleanings, helps coordinate our scheduling to keep us safe, on-time, efficient and capable of pivoting in a moment's notice to keep our clients happy! Aside from his career, Tyler also enjoys spending time with his wife, and 4 children. Yvonne McMahon

Yvonne has over 30 years of experience in the environmental services industry starting at an entry-level position and working her way to Sales Manager by developing and maintaining accounts and by providing prompt quality and safety-oriented services. Yvonne's projects have included providing environmental cleaning and disposal of waste generated from coke oven closure, set up programs for the identification, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste drums on large projects, plant closures, which involved cleaning of tanks, piping and demolition. Working closely with field personnel to assure the projects time lines were met, Yvonne has obtained a high level of trust from her clients to "get the job done". Qualifications Certified Underground Storage Systems Technician/Remover (Maryland); Certified Confined Space Worker; OSHA HAZMAT Training; CPR Training; Confined Space-29CFR 1910.146; HAZ COM-29CFR 1910.1200 (h); Workplace Violence; Driving Safety; Drug Abuse; No Free Ride (APHIS); OSHA certified in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 Hazardous Waste Operations.
