AFCO was founded by Aldo J. Ferrera in 1984, in Plano, Texas, as a concrete contractor, building low and mid-rise office buildings. After moving operations from Texas to its new headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida, in 1989, AFCO re-established itself and has evolved from a firm providing solely general contracting services to a multi-faceted enterprise with the experience and expertise to provide comprehensive design, construction, integrated security/access control systems and communications solutions to companies and institutions that require exceptional value and intelligent solutions for their projects.
