Alegre, Sr. started a company known today as Frank C. Alegre Trucking, Inc. In 1973, it became an active California Corporation. With the support and assistance of his wife, Helen Alegre, the business grew and on January 1, 2000 Frank and Helen passed on the leadership role to Tony Alegre, their middle son.
