American Temperature Control established in 1987 by current owner Doug Krahl. Originally, as your standard Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Algonquin Illinois. As the years gone by Doug seen how building owners lived with inadequate comfort, with large temperature and moisture swings in homes and buildings, he knew there had to be better way for Comfort and Building Durability! In 1995 Doug got involved with Building Science through Building Performance Instituted, Affordable Comfort Instituted, Better Building Better Business and was recognized and invited to the "Elite" Westford Symposium of Building Science where 500 of the very best Building Scientist from around the world meet once a year! The results show in our craftsmanship and has been recognized and used by the following organizations, Air Conditioning Contractor of America, HVACR School, The Energy Conservatory, Retrotec, MeasureQuick, a speaker at the Better Building Better Business Conference, HVACR School Symposium..
