Dr. Ronald J. Farabaugh

Dr. Farabaugh practiced in the Columbus Ohio area from 1982-2018. Since 2015, he has served as the VP and National Physical Medicine Director for AMI. He has always been involved in the chiropractic profession and has service of the President of the Central Ohio Chiropractic Association and Ohio State Chiropractic Association (1996-1998). In 1994 he was appointed by Governor Voinovich to serve on the Healthcare Quality Advisory Council to help design managed care programs for the Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC). He was appointed by Governor Strickland to serve on the State Chiropractic Board from 2010 to 2014. In 2012 (to present) Dr. Farabaugh was appointed to serve on Official Disability Guidelines Editorial Advisory Board (ODG), arguably the most evidenced-based guideline in the world today. In 2011 he was appointed to serve on the IRB: Sport and Spine Rehab Clinical Research Foundation. And in 2023 he was appointed to serve as Chairman of the American Chiropractic Association's Research Advisory Board. Dr. Farabaugh was elected Chairman (2005) and continues to serve on the Council for Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP). Dr. Farabaugh has been published 15 times in peer reviewed journals, focused primarily on best practice/guideline topics. In 2014 Dr. Farabaugh was elected to serve on the board of the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) as a Councilor-Category II, representing clinicians and served until 2020. As an expert, Dr. Farabaugh has provided expert opinion/testimony in over 100 malpractice cases in the US. He is also past Chairman of the Chiropractic Department of Columbus Community Hospital and helped establish one of the first free Chiropractic Clinics in the Columbus region via Vineyard of Columbus (2007). Dr. Farabaugh has been honored by his colleagues and was twice awarded both the OSCA President's Award (1989, 2000) and Chiropractic of the Year Award (1990, 1996) and chosen Chiropractor of the Year in 2013 by the Central Ohio Chiropractic Association. He was selected for inclusion as Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors (2010). He is also founder of the popular Chiropractic Bootcamp seminars, a unique, fast-paced, exciting seminar that blends evidence with clinical decision-making and marketing.

Garrett Gawne - COO, EVP

Garrett Gawne has been with AMI since 2010 working on every product offering in over a decade of work in the healthcare and insurance industries. Garrett established and managed the Physical and Occupational Therapy outpatient authorization department of the AMI Group in 2012. This experience led him to work with the AMI IMDIS® design team to build and grow the companies' proprietary data analytics engine for Chronic Pain and Physical Medicine Value Based Network Management. Today, he manages the teams responsible for IMDIS® operations and technology security. Before taking the position with AMI, Mr. Gawne worked for the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Gawne graduated from Bradley University with a B.S. in Business Management and Administration with a Global Scholar designation.

James E. Zechman - CEO, Chairman, Founder

Mr. Zechman has been the Chairman of the Board and CEO of AMI since he co-founded the company with Dr. Sarnat in 1997. He brings significant experience in management, finance, operations, sales, regulatory and legal experience to AMI. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Zechman was Executive Vice President with UtiliMED, a national diagnostic imaging utilization management company, where he headed national sales and marketing and was an active member of its management team. Mr. Zechman was the founder and President of Apwel, Inc. an international trade finance/import-export company from 1988 to 1992. Prior to founding Apwel, Inc., Mr. Zechman was the Managing Vice President for Merrill Lynch Government Securities specializing in risk management on the global derivative markets from 1976 to 1988. From 1975 to 1976, he held various options trading positions on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. In 1999, he was named "Person of the Year" by Dynamic Chiropractic magazine. Both Mr. Zechman and his business partner, Dr. Richard Sarnat, received the 2000 "Presidential Citation Award" from the National College of Chiropractic as well as the 2000 "Leadership Award" from the American Academy of the Chiropractic Physicians. Mr. Zechman is a former trustee of both the American Academy and Lakeland Health Services, now part of the Northshore University Health System. Mr. Zechman received his BME (with honors) from Drake University, his MA (with honors) from the University of Denver and a LLD, Honorary Doctorate Degree from the National University of Health Sciences where he was the commencement speaker in 2002. Mr. Zechman enjoys travel, reading, golf, and career mentoring.

Linda Eldridge

Ms. Eldridge is a forty plus year veteran of the healthcare industry. She has extensive experience in management, sales, operations, product and information system development for conventional, complementary alternative and integrative medical delivery systems. Ms. Eldridge has designed and built innovative national, regional and local HMO, PPO, EPO and workers' compensation products. Working with health benefit payors, providers and consumers, she has built a strong reputation for delivering quality and patient-centric programs for companies such as Prudential Insurance Company of America, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Private HealthCare Systems, Ltd., HealthCare COMPARE/AFFORDABLE, Kennedy Consulting Group, Community Care Network, Inc., various state Medicare/Medicaid programs and her own consulting firm Eldridge & Associates, Inc. A published author, Ms. Eldridge received a B.A. from Miami University of Ohio and earned her MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in 1991, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She is currently completing doctoral work towards a PhD. in Integrative HealthCare and CAM Studies with a focus in Chronic Pain.

Richard L. Sarnat - Founder, President

Dr. Sarnat is AMI's co-founder, President and Chief Medical Officer. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Sarnat now practices integrative medicine and has become a recognized leader in the field of alternative medicine as an author, speaker and researcher. His first book, Physician Heal Thyself: What Every Practitioner Should Know about Alternative Medicine, is highly respected as one of the leading books in the field. He has been instrumental in developing several successful entrepreneurial healthcare-related companies, anticipating the value of leveraging new technologies married with natural medical management strategies to improve outcomes. Dr. Sarnat served as a trustee of the National University of Health Sciences from 2001 through 2010 and on the board of directors of New Chapter Inc. from 1993 - 2012. Dr. Sarnat received his A.B. at Washington University in Saint Louis (Phi Beta Kappa) and was nominated for Rhodes and Oxford scholarships. He received his M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago, and completed his residency at Northwestern University.
