Amanda Gragg - VP

Amanda Gragg was born and raised in northern California and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Ms. Gragg studied quantitative economics at the U.S. Naval Academy and also competed as a Division I athlete on the women's Track and Field team. She graduated in 2008 and was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Throughout her time on active duty, Ms. Gragg was stationed at Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in California. She supported expeditionary deployments to various combat tours for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, before leaving the military in 2013. Prior to AmeriVet, Ms. Gragg spent nine years as a business development professional in the technology industry, to include Google and most recently, Plate IQ. Additionally, she holds an Executive Master's of Business Administration with a focus in advanced finance and is registered with FINRA Series 7 and 63.

Brian Rogers

Brian Rogers serves as our Executive Director. Mr. Rogers has more than 40 years of experience in financial services. He most recently worked at Credit Suisse as the Director of Fixed Income and the Head of Asset-backed Commercial Paper. While at Credit Suisse, he received numerous promotions from operations to trading. In addition, Mr. Rogers developed relationships with over 40 issuers representing over $25B in outstanding securities and managed trading operations for the firm's largest domestic and international accounts. In his free time, Mr. Rogers enjoys coaching basketball, football and lacrosse, fishing, surfing and activities with his family.

Chris Musselman

Chris Musselman joined the AmeriVet Securities Advisory Board in 2020 and currently serves as the Head of U.S. Commercial Business for Palantir Technologies. Chris retired from the U.S. Navy at the rank of Commander in 2018 after serving more than 21 years as a Navy SEAL, leading teams in the conduct of global special operations. Throughout the duration of his military career, he spent time working at the Central Intelligence Agency and Senior Fellow at The Atlantic Council, focused on Russia and China strategy. In addition, he served on the National Security Council as the Director for Counterterrorism at the White House. Chris holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Master of International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He lives outside of Washington, DC, and is the owner and operator of Frog Hollow Farm, LLC, with his wife and three kids.

Colonel Brian Denman

Colonel Brian Denman retired from active duty in 2019, after a distinguished 25-year career in the U.S. Air Force as a communications and cyberspace warfare operations officer. During his military service, he led Cyber Protection Teams for U.S. Cyber Command, the U.S. Air Force's advanced cyber warfare and information operations schoolhouse, an enterprise network operations unit responsible for the global operation of the U.S. Air Force's networks and an intelligence support unit. Additionally, Colonel Denman served as a strategic planner and resource advocate on the Joint Staff, where he focused on Russia and emerging cyber threats. In this role, he also supported the creation and employment of the nation's Cyber Mission Force, U.S. Cyber Command's action arm to execute cyberspace operations in defense of the nation's interests. A native of Spokane, Washington, Colonel Denman earned his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force and his bachelor's degree in business administration, with a focus on management information systems, from Washington State University in 1994. He earned a master's degree in management from Troy University and a master's degree, with distinction, in national security and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College. In addition, he is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and holds multiple cybersecurity industry certifications.

Donald Webbe is the Managing Director and COO at South Street Securities, Inc. Mr. Webbe began his career in financial services in 1986 at Citibank as a Treasury Specialist. While at Citibank, he served as an Operations Officer, Manager and eventually rose to the position of Vice President, where his responsibilities included oversight of finance, funding and futures operations, as well as domestic and international clearance. After a 15-year tenure at Citibank, Mr. Webbe left the company to join South Street in 2001. Elton Johnson, Jr., is the founder of AmeriVet and has served in the financial industry since 1977. He has owned and operated the company since they became a member of the self-regulatory organization, now known as FINRA, in 1994. Prior to owning his own stock brokerage company, he worked for several regional brokerage houses including Security Pacific Brokers and Kennedy, Cabot. Shortly after graduating from college, Mr. Johnson enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. He served in the 4th Marine Division for two years as an artilleryman before he obtained a conditional release and a lateral transfer to the U.S. Army in order to volunteer for U.S. Army Special Forces training (Green Berets). Additionally, he served in the 19th Special Forces Group and the 12th Special Forces Group (Airborne) where he was trained as a Communications Specialist and cross-trained as a Heavy Weapons Specialist. In 1985, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Armor Branch. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Infantry Branch. Since 9/11, he has served two tours of duty in Iraq and one tour of duty in Afghanistan. His military awards include the Bronze Star Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal. Mr. Johnson is a disabled U.S. veteran and an advocate for veteran's rights. In 2010, he was the motivating force behind the passage of a California law which soon became known as Major Johnson's Law. It assists California citizen-soldiers in maintaining their businesses while deployed on active military duty. Mr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he majored in finance, graduating with a bachelor's in business administration from Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. He is currently enrolled in American Military University where he is pursuing his master's in business administration. Elton is called up to active duty after the 9/11 attacks. Elton Johnson, Jr., has served in the financial services industry since 1977 and has operated AmeriVet Securities since the company became a member of FINRA in 1994. James Fitzgerald

Mr. Fitzgerald is a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served for nine years in the Infantry, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan. He received the Purple Heart for his injuries sustained during combat in Afghanistan while serving with the 101st Airborne Division. In 2014, he was medically retired and honorably discharged from the military. He moved to New York City in 2014 and most recently served as the Deputy Director of the NYC Veteran Alliance. There, he established strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and government agencies, and managed organizational policy initiatives at local, state and federal levels in support of veterans. In addition, he worked to ensure pressing matters impacting veterans and their families were addressed and continuously created sustainable solutions for them.

As Treasurer, Mr. Tabacchi initiated an off balance sheet engineering effort to securitize Citicorp's fixed income business. Jason Pandak

During this time, he spearheaded the establishment of the Iraqi Military Academy and guided more than 150 Marines through both peace and war time missions. Jason Schuit is co-chief Investment Officer at South Street Securities and is responsible for the firm's strategic trading decisions, term collateral trading and Hedge Fund financing. He was responsible for the formation, infrastructure development, trading and CEO of South Street Securities. Jeffrey Buchanan

Lieutenant General Jeffrey Buchanan retired from the U.S. Army in 2019, after an esteemed 37 year career. He joined the AmeriVet Securities Advisory Board in 2020. General Buchanan was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry under the ROTC program after graduating from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Ecology in 1982. He earned a master's in Leadership Development from the U.S. Military Academy in 1992 and was the Distinguished Graduate of a year-long international security fellowship at the Geneva Center for Security Policy in 2002. He commanded at every level from Platoon to Theater Army, and his assignments include tours in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division, 25th Infantry Division, 101st Airborne Division, the 10th Mountain Division, and I Corps. General Buchanan served four combat tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. From 2016-2019, he served as USNORTHCOM's Joint Forces Land Component Commander and led the operational-level military response in support of FEMA for five major hurricanes: Matthew, Harvey, Irma, Maria, and Florence, in support of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency for SW border security.

Jeremy Fraenkel

Mr. Fraenkel has 17 years of experience as a financial and business development professional. Prior to joining AmeriVet, he worked as the head of business development for a venture funded digital analytics company, Tomahawk. There, he focused on several efforts including managing relationships of their largest hedge fund clients. Mr. Fraenkel began his career in 2003 as a business development associate at the expert network company GLG in New York. He spent the next three years as vice president at Beacon Trust Company, a 1.6 billion dollar asset manager in New Jersey. In addition, he was a business development officer and portfolio manager providing investment, trust and estate services for 400 families. Following this role, Mr. Fraenkel became a syndicate portfolio manager at Generational Holdings, a small firm with a focus on equity capital markets. Mr. Fraenkel graduated from Lehigh university in 2003 and is registered with his FINRA Series 7.

Jessica Borriello

Jim Glascott

Jim Glascott has 32 years of experience in capital markets and investment banking and most recently worked as the Chairman of Capital Markets at Barclays. Mr. Glascott has held additional senior positions at Barclays including Managing Director, Global Head of Debt Capital Markets and Head of U.S. Debt Capital Markets and Investment Banking. Prior to joining Barclays, Mr. Glascott carved out an esteemed 14-year career at Morgan Stanley, where he worked as the Managing Director of Capital Markets and was responsible for the power, energy and industrial sectors. John Wharton

Major General John Wharton served in the military for more than 30 years before retiring from the U.S. Army. General Wharton has extensive experience in leadership, science, technology, innovation and logistics. He is currently a public and private sector advisor to numerous technology companies and organizations. His focus is on national security and technology acceleration in support of national priorities and homeland security. Additionally, he is a managing partner at One Defense, an organization that originated out of the Department of Defense (DoD)'s Office of the Secretary, as a next generation national security enterprise to foster an expanded defense technology innovation community of practice that incorporates DoD stakeholders, the traditional defense industry, start-up and venture capital communities and the academic research community. General Wharton also serves as senior advisor to The Chertoff Group, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Veteran Affinity Group and the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology's CTO. Previously, he has served as a Visiting Senior Research Fellow, Institute for National Strategic Studies (INSS), National Defense University (NDU) in Washington, DC and Senior Advisor to theNational Security Technology Acceleration Program (MD5) providing our Nation's leaders with expertise regarding science and technology, innovation, and engineering affecting national security. In his last assignment, he served as Commanding General of the United States Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECM) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. There, he led 13,800 scientists, engineers and support personnel at more than 100 global locations controlling 75% of the Army's R&D budget. His subordinate organizations included the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, MD, and the five Army research, development and engineering centers, of which includes Armament in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ; Aviation and Missile in Redstone Arsenal, AL; Communication and Electronic in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; Soldier Support Natick, MA; Tank and Automotive in Warren, MI, in addition to the Edgewood Chemical and Biological Center in Edgewood, MD. While there, General Wharton won and led five of the seven President of the United States National Manufacturing Innovative Institutes, a program to stimulate the nation's economy by rapid technology development and transfer. He also developed cooperative science and technology strategic roadmaps for numerous Allied countries and ran the Science, Technology, Education Mathematics and Educational Outreach Programs for the U.S. Army. Joseph B. Anderson

Joseph B. Anderson, Jr., attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he was one of four African American students in his class. Mr. Anderson graduated in 1965 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. After graduation, he commanded troops in the 82nd Airborne Division and served two tours with the 1st Calvary Division in Vietnam. While leading the 1st Calvary Division, his 33-man platoon was followed by a French film crew while embedded in Vietnam. A documentary film was subsequently released in 1967 called "The Anderson Platoon." The film has won multiple awards, including an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 1968. In addition to his military service, Mr. Anderson was selected as a White House Fellow, working as the Special Assistant to the Secretary of Commerce, Juanita Kreps. Following his work with Secretary Kreps, he began a career with General Motors in Detroit, Michigan. After 13 years with the company, Mr. Anderson left to become President and CEO of Composite Energy Management Systems, Inc., and later acquired controlling interest in Chivas Products Limited, both of which are privately held companies. He is the majority owner, Chairman and CEO of TAG Holdings, LLC, which owns several manufacturing, service and technology-based companies based in North America. Mr. Anderson is a native of Kansas and currently resides in Michigan, where he serves on multiple boards throughout the area.

Kevin Galligan - Managing Director

Kevin Galligan is a U.S. Army veteran. He is dually focused on continuing to grow Debt Capital Markets coverage and inaugurating and leading the new business initiative of the Private Capital Group. In addition, Mr. Galligan's role is focused on the agency, defense, industrial and transportation sectors. The new private capital raising initiative will primarily focus on the origination of veteran-led companies in addition to the fundraising of national security-focused funds across all sectors. Prior to AmeriVet, Mr. Galligan focused on the origination and execution of raising capital for middle market private companies and select funds at Brock Capital. He was on deal teams across the industry verticals of aerospace, healthcare, industrials, infrastructure, real estate and technology-enabled services. Mr. Galligan was also the Managing Partner of Cavan Consultants, and in conjunction with that, he acted as a Managing Director at Barclay Investments, Managing Director at Campfire Capital, and a Senior Advisor at Spurrier Capital Partners. Previously, Mr. Galligan was the North American Head of Public Sector Debt Capital Markets at HSBC. His 12+ year career at HSBC included the origination of frequent borrowers in the international capital markets. Financings included small private placements up to large public debt, in various currencies and utilizing various structures. Mr. Galligan began his finance career with analyst roles at Credit Suisse, First Boston and Barclays Capital. Mr. Galligan served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army. A fateful accident left him with brain trauma, seizures and a broken neck, only millimeters away from paralysis, which ultimately led to a medical discharge. He considers himself to be extremely fortunate and has a passion for assisting veteran non-profits, veteran entrepreneurial initiatives and veteran's transitioning to the corporate world. His employment at AmeriVet bolsters his interest in and ability to assist with veteran engagements. Mercedes Elias

Mercedes Elias is the first and currently the only woman veteran to serve as CEO of a service disabled, veteran-owned broker-dealer on Wall Street. Ms. Elias is of Mexican American descent and grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Her father served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. After graduating from St. Mary's University, Ms. Elias attended Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps that same year. Her commissioning class started with 49 women and only 17 women graduated, showcasing how difficult it is for women to become officers in the U.S. Marine Corps. Throughout her time on active duty, Ms. Elias was stationed in Quantico, Virginia; Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; Okinawa, Japan; Camp Pendleton, California and Garden City, New York. Additionally, she served a combat tour in Afghanistan from 2011 to 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and completed her time on active duty in 2016 with the 1st Marine Corps Recruiting District in Garden City, New York. In 2020, she was appointed by the Mayor of New York City to sit on the city's Veterans Advisory Board, which functions through the contributions of 11 veterans who have been appointed to three-year terms by either the Mayor (6) or the Speaker of the New York City Council (5). Mercedes Elias is appointed as Co-CEO, becoming the first and currently the only woman veteran to lead the SDVOB broker-dealers on Wall Street.

Michael Dmitriyevich

Michael Dmitriyevich graduated from John Jay in 2017 and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps shortly thereafter. He graduated from the School of Infantry at the top of his class and deployed to Japan and Australia as part of a U.S Marine rotational force. Mr. Dmitriyevich served as an infantry squad leader and a combat marksmanship coach. In addition, he was chosen to be the first U.S. Marine in his company to undergo a new training program, qualifying him to conduct lifesaving blood transfusions in the field. He is currently transitioning from active duty to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and plans to attend law school in New York City. Additionally, he is registered with FINRA Series 7, 52, and 63. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, working out and spending time with family and friends.

Michael McCormack is an intern supporting the Debt Capital Markets team. Mr. McCormack previously spent six years in the New York Army National Guard, where he served as a Cavalry Scout. He is currently attending Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business and graduates with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance in December 2023. During his time at Baruch College, he reestablished the Student Veterans Association, after the organization's collapse during the COVID-19 pandemic. He served as president for the 2022 to 2023 academic year, to rebuild the student veteran community on campus. Mr. McCormack has completed the SIE exam with FINRA and is studying to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Michael Mullowney

Michael Mullowney has more than 25 years in the financial services industry. He has held various senior management role, notably at Wall Street firms including JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch and Wachovia. Most recently, Mr. Mullowney was the Senior Vice President, Equity Syndicate desk manager at Winslow, Evans & Crocker (Winslow) in Boston, Massachusetts. Winslow is a woman-owned firm which qualified as a minority-owned SEC-registered and FINRA member broker-dealer. There, Mr. Mullowney was directly responsible for constructing Winslow's equity platform and leveraging its woman-owned status to get the company included in dozens of selling group opportunities. Mr. Mullowney holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Boston College, where he was also a four-year starter on the varsity hockey team. He currently resides in Newton, Massachusetts with his wife and three children.

Michael Naidrich

Michael Naidrich began his career at NDB Capital Markets, where he became Head Trader and served on the Senior Management team until NDB sold to Deutsche Bank in 2000. Following the sale, Mr. Naidrich helped lead a direct access platform for Boston-based Moors and Cabot. Later, he joined Nova Capital Markets as President, where he among other responsibilities, he ran the firm's day-to-day operations. Most recently, Mr. Naidrich led the Capital Markets team at Tigress Financial Partners. Mr. Naidrich received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. Additionally, he is registered with FINRA Series 7, 63, 55 and 24. Mr. Naidrich currently resides in New York City and in his spare time, he enjoys ice hockey, poker and spending time with his three daughters.

Michael Snodgrass

He has extensive command and leadership experience in the U.S. Air Force and joint world, as well as a wide range of disciplines, including defense and aerospace, technology development, government acquisitions and requirements, foreign military sales and leadership coaching. He consults with the government, defense industry and other businesses on a wide range of topics. In 2019 he became an adjunct contract professor supporting the U.S. Air Force on strategy and policy development. From 2014 to 2016 he was Vice President, International Business Development at Raytheon Corp. Prior to that he was Director of U.S. Air Force and Federal Aviation Administration programs at Engility Corp. General Snodgrass joined Burdeshaw and Associates in 2012 and is a Senior Consultant for numerous clients in the defense and aerospace sectors. Prior to his retirement, he was U.S. Air Force Assistant Deputy Under Secretary for International Affairs; responsible for formulating and executing USAF Policy, Strategy and Programs for Building Partnerships and integrating Air Force policy with international partner goals, totaling over $40 billion total program value. From 2007 to 2010 he served as the first Chief of Staff, U.S. Africa Command. There, he was responsible for the construction of the country's newest Unified Geographic Command. He has commanded at the squadron, group and wing levels and has lived in/visited over 50 nations while in uniform. He has over 3500 flight hours in various aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-4, C-130 and HH-60, as well as over 100 combat missions in Operation Desert Storm. In addition, General Snodgrass teaches leadership and management courses. In his spare time, he provides leadership coaching and training to the U.S. Air Force ROTC unit at Florida State University. Michael Snodgrass retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Major General in 2011. He is currently the President of SG Strategic Solutions LLC.
