Ann Grana is a successful sales executive, as well as an experienced sales train ing professional. Ms. Grana has over twenty five years experience in a variety of sales and sales professional development roles. In her career as an account executive, Ms. Grana focused on the pharmaceutical industry, calling on physicians, pharmacies and hospitals. In her 20+ years in the field, Grana introduced, educated and successfully sold the first generation of AIDS and anti-viral agents; promoted products in numerous product categories to a large number of specialties, and provided both in house and field training to a large number of new and experienced representatives. Her approach to her products, and her ability to instill confidence in her clients, enabled her to consistently surpass her peers in performance. Based on her sales successes, Grana was selected to design and deliver the first sales training class for a specialty pharmaceutical company. In addition to designing the program, Ms. Grana became the field trainer for the company, all the while maintaining her field sales excellence. Ms. Grana has written product manuals and developed sales strategies for new products in the pharmaceutical industry. She has also created customized training programs for a variety of clients, ranging from retail and "business to business" to specialized physician practices. Since founding AMG Consulting in 2004, Ann has become affiliated with the programs of the Sterling Institute and the Bayer Institute for Health Care Communication, now known as The Institute for Healthcare Communication. In 2008, AMG Consulting was selected as the exclusive Midwest partner for the Sales Research Group of Atlanta. Grana also became a certified coach for the TalentProfilerâ„¢ Assessment Tool. Her clients include St. John's Mercy Medical Center, DePaul Hospital, TAB St. Louis, Washington University School of Medicine, Integrity Detection Systems, AAIM, DISC, SunGard Availability Services, Irwin Union Bank, Health Alliance, Cartridge World, KIG Healthcare, Midwest Health Care, Inc. and Keystone IT Consulting. Ann is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a member and past board member of the International Society of Performance Improvement, St. Louis chapter, and holds leadership positions on the boards of the HBA (Healthcare Business Women's Association,) ACA (American Club Association), MGMA St. Louis and the MGMA Business Partners. Ann has been a featured speaker on the topic of communication skills and sales training for various seminars.
