With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Calafiore is well qualified to provide consumers and businesses with insurance solutions. A recognized leader in the New York City insurance community, he has held positions at the company, wholesale, and retail side of the business and is a past president of the Council of Insurance Brokers of Greater New York (CIBGNY). He is also an active member of the Professional Agents of New York's Downstate Advisory Council. As a result of his work with various professional insurance organizations, Mr. Calafiore was appointed by the Superintendent of the New York State Department of Financial Services to serve on the Board of Directors of the New York Property Underwriting Association (NYPIUA). He is one of only three brokers in the state of New York to serve in this capacity.
