Dr. James C. Vogler

Dr. James C. Vogler is more than a dentist - he's a passionate artist and scientist dedicated to helping his patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. With over 1,500 hours of continuing education, the honor of being a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a member of the Seattle study club, Dr. Vogler is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements. He combines extensive knowledge with a personal touch to provide his patients with exceptional dental care and loves seeing the joy on a patient's face- a feeling he will never get tired of. Dr. Vogler's journey into dentistry stemmed from his love for blending art and science. He graduated from SUNY Buffalo Dental School in 1990 and continued his training with a general residency at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Vogler then completed a two-year geriatric dental fellowship in a combined program through the University of Connecticut and SUNY Buffalo. After completing his formal education, he worked in a hospital practice in Rochester and then became the Director of what is now Sister Renee Dental Center in Hornell, NY. Dr. Vogler bought his practice in 2001, and together with his team, they excel at addressing fears and concerns around dental visits, offering compassionate care tailored to each individual. He believes dentistry allows him to improve his patient's health and happiness in meaningful, lasting ways. Dr. Vogler values his patients' trust in him, especially as he sees new generations of families seeking his care. This legacy of trust fuels his dedication to making every patient feel like family. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Vogler enjoys staying active with pickleball, tennis, hiking, skiing, and exercise. He's been married for almost four decades to his wife, Jody, and together they've raised three remarkable sons. One is pursuing a career as a periodontist, while the other two are thriving in research in Boston.
