Debbie wins our firm's award for the most famous and interesting relative - Erwin "Cannonball" Baker.
Her grandfather set over 140 records racing cross-country from 1910-1930, which infamously became known as the "Cannonball Run" (yes, that movie). He also raced at the Indy 500 in 1922, and later became the first commissioner of NASCAR.
Racing may run in her blood but so does wealth planning. Debbie brings over 10 years of experience working with high net worth individuals in various operations, compliance, and sales and marketing support roles. She is an excellent communicator and does nothing short to exceed expectations, a trait especially valued on our Client Service team.
When not at work or in Austin, you'll find Debbie sunning on any beach, especially her favorites in Clearwater and Destin, Florida.

Making an impact in the lives of others has always been a passion for Elena.
Elena joined Austin Asset in 2013 as our receptionist. While she absolutely enjoyed the opportunity to greet and welcome our clients, her focus became more internal when offered the opportunity to move into the Office Manager's role in 2023.
In her role, she is responsible for supporting our staff on a more personal level as well as becoming more involved in creating an unforgettable and warm culture for our employees.
Elena is married to her childhood sweetheart and has two daughters who are both married and have given her 5 wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys having the family over for Sunday dinner and especially enjoys cheering for her grandchildren at their extra-curricular activities any chance she gets!

Emilee is passionate about enhancing and bettering the lives of others through financial planning.
Working with the team at Austin Asset towards a common goal, establishing trust with clients and serving them holistically, brings Emilee a sense of meaning and purpose.
Because of her love for psychology and math, Emilee attended Texas Tech University to obtain her B.S. in Personal Financial Planning. Seeing the definite need for financial planning in our world today, she was captivated with the idea of studying financial planning so that she could one day give back financial knowledge to serve and enrich the lives of others. It is through financial planning that relationships are fostered, and where tangible financial solutions are revealed.
Emilee can be described as driven, eager, an effective communicator, and conscientious. A native Austinite, Emilee enjoys hiking, skiing, the outdoors, music, theatre, and travelling.

While Nathan was born in Houston, he convinced his family to move to Austin as soon as he could, at the age of three.
Nathan spent the first part of his career in Corporate Accounting, learning that there is more to being a valued member of an organization than simple debits and credits. He prides himself on developing relationships and earning the respect and trust of his peers.
The opportunity to be a part of a well-established, trusted firm with Austin roots was a perfect fit for Nathan and his professional goals. His versatility and desire for personal learning and growth make him a great fit for his role in Operations at Austin Asset.
Family is the most important thing in Nathan's life. Most of his time away from work is spent with his wife, twins (boy & girl) and the newest addition, a puppy.

Sarah's sincere and infectious personality makes her a natural fit for her role as the firm's front office specialist. She will make you feel at home the moment you walk through our door. She knew Austin Asset was the right place for her, upon hearing about our commitment to integrity, character, and service. Although financial planning is new to Sarah, she has long believed that making consistent good decisions today will positively impact tomorrow.
Sarah grew up in Ohio but lived previously in California and Minnesota before settling down in Austin in 2020. Prior to Austin Asset, Sarah was leading the music department of her church. Music and ministry are her two greatest passions. Outside of work, you can find Sarah spending quality time with her husband and traveling to help with worship events.
