Dr Christopher Rumball

Dr Rumball is qualified as both a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and a Specialist in Occupational & Environmental Medicine. Since commencing work in Christchurch in 2010 he has focused on complex pain and vocational rehabilitation cases working in close collaboration with the broader team in the community. He trained in pain medicine at Burwood Pain Management Centre. He has an academic background, with a PhD in the area of developmental origins of health and disease, a Masters in Bioscience Enterprise from Cambridge University and has consulted in the area of translational medicine. With this background he has given the Australis Medical practice a strong focus on using technology to improve care and to collect data to enable research. He is also a founder of Occupational Health Canterbury, Clinical Lead for Sense Medical in their development of the Cortex iOS application, and part of Australis IT which works with Medgate UK to offer the Cohort Occupational Health software system in Australasia.

Dr Monica Ford

Monica comes from a public health background and is specialising in aviation medicine. She provides CAA and CASA pilot medicals, as well as rail medicals. She provides occupational medicine services to the Christchurch Engine Centre and Virgin Australia (NZ). She is a Australasian Medical Review Officer and provides qualified oversight of Drug and Alcohol Management Plans.

Georgina Bayliss

Job Titles:

Georgina is our Occupational Health Nurse, and is experienced with the Cohort Occupational Health software. She has worked in the mining industry and is experienced in performing health monitoring tests, and providing health and wellness programs.

Gina Gilbreath

Gina is our practice manager and program administrator of our Drug and Alcohol Management Plan services.
