Dave Stevenson

Dr. Stevenson is a Bel Air area native. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. Degree in Biology in 1997. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary from VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. His areas of interest include internal medicine, dermatology and dentistry.

Deborah Kelly

Dr. Kelly is from White Hall, MD where she grew up on a horse farm and where she still lives today while raising Show Hunters. She graduated from Towson State University with a BS in Chemistry and Biology. She then earned her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990. She has been with Bel Air Veterinary Hospital since 1994. Her interests include showing hunters, all outdoor sports and spending time on the farm with her 3 dogs, 1 donkey and 7 horses.

Dr. Richard O. Cook

Dr. Cook received his B.S. Degree in Dairy Husbandry and his Veterinary Medical Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in 1956. Dr. Cook was in private practice for 50+ years. Dr. Cook remained active in local organizations and was an organizer and Chairman for the Harford County Farm Fair for many years.

Kara Young

Dr. Young grew up in Monkton, MD where she was involved with horses from an early age. She graduated magna cum laude from Colorado State University in 2011 where she earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Equine Science and a minor in Business Administration. In 2015, Dr. Young earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University. Following graduation, she completed a year-long rotating internship in Large Animal Surgery, Internal Medicine and Emergency & Critical Care at University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center. She then worked at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine before returning to Maryland. When not working, Dr. Young enjoys horseback riding, traveling and spending time with her family including a beagle named James.

Thomas Schmidt

Dr. Schmidt received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 1982. He is the former owner of the Oxon Hill Animal Hospital and Clinton Animal Hospital and also has practiced emergency medicine in Maryland, Virginia and New York for several years.
