Matthew Kopecki

Matt is a graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law. Matt joined our firm this winter in February 2014. This was after years at the Public Defender's Office. At the PD's office Matt developed his trial and court expertise by being in court every day. Prior to being a public defender, Matt was president judge Yatron's law clerk for two years. Originally from Virginia, Matt is the son of two trial attorneys who have taught him well. Additionally, Matt is married to a Berks County Attorney. Matt served as a Marine for eight years as a military intelligence specialist. Matt has vast experience in DUIs and brings that talent to BLO. Matt enjoys sailing and is an avid shooter. Matt is a hunter, he has a passion for military history, and he and his wife love travel. Matt is a combination of compassion and diligent litigator. In his life he has been a single parent of a teenager and he understands the stresses and challenges of the family law process. Matt is a man of honor and integrity. He will listen to client's needs, fight for his clients, and make sure that they are prioritized. Molly McDonough

Molly was born and raised in Montgomery County, PA. During her senior year at Lower Merion High School, she shadowed a judge on the criminal bench of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and developed an interest in law and the goal to become an attorney. She attended Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, where she majored in Government with a minor in French. After graduation, she worked at a Philadelphia law firm as a paralegal for a year before attending the Pennsylvania State University's Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, PA. Molly was a member of the Moot Court and National Trial Teams and graduated as a member of the Order of Barristers National Honor Society in 2015. Molly then passed the Pennsylvania Bar exam in July, 2015. Following law school graduation, Molly clerked for the Honorable Andrea Marceca Strong, a family law judge on the York County Court of Common Pleas. Molly then spent the next five and a half years as an Assistant District Attorney, most recently specializing in assisting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. As a prosecutor, Molly gained valuable experience in the courtroom, prosecuting cases ranging from misdemeanors to homicides. Molly lives locally with her husband, their two sons, and two rescue dogs. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, going to sporting events, and spending time with her family.

Rebecca A. Smith

Rebecca Smith resides in Bern Township. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her parents Mike and Cindy Smith, owners of Tails A' Waggin' in West Lawn, Pennsylvania and her brother Matt Smith. Her family also includes her dog, a corgi mix named Gracie. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking, and frequenting area auctions with her husband Matthew Kopecki, who is also a partner with the firm.
