Preparation of Development Framework for ‘new town' on large (35,000 hectare) site based around extinct volcano. Incorporates extensive agricultural small holdings, range of residential densities, hotels, marina, golf course, and extensive natural systems. [In association with DSA Architects International]... Leading the design team, in association with ‘Sibane' development consultants for a large mixed use residential, commercial and industrial estate outside Lusaka. The project has required strategic engagement with Lusaka City Council and has involved the replanning of the transportation networks south of the city. [Client - HFA]... Leading the Master Planning to update the existing Conservation + Development Plan for 26, 000 ha Contractual National Park. The area is of great biological importance and is also part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, one of the largest protected wilderness areas in the world.
