Brent F. Romney

In a remarkable career of over 45 years, there is little that Mr. Romney hasn't accomplished. He is one of the most respected and widely quoted attorneys in California. A graduate of Brigham Young University Law, he rose to the rank of Assistant District Attorney (#3) in the Orange County District Attorney's Office before leaving to accept a full-time position as a law school professor. His state and federal court experience includes extensive trial and appellate work on a variety of matters including death penalty cases. He has argued before the California Supreme Court and the federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; has appeared on local and national TV and radio; and has written numerous papers and training materials on a wide range of legal topics. Mr. Romney is a well-known speaker before prosecutors, at police agencies and attorney meetings, and at community forums. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Bar Association and was President of the Association of Orange County Deputy District Attorneys.

Dan J. Goldsmith

Dan J. Goldsmith has 21 years of private investigation experience, 17 years of law enforcement experience, and 10 years of law enforcement officer/detective experience. He was licensed as a California Private Investigator in 1995. His extensive experience conducting criminal defense investigations includes two years working as an investigator on a major investment fraud case. He is a court-certified expert in both fraud investigations and medical fraud investigations. In 2000, he was designated as a Certified Fraud Specialist with the Association of Certified Fraud Specialists. Mr. Goldsmith also is a retired senior investigator for the Medical Board of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, and has served as Vice President of the California Association of Licensed Investigators. Mr. Goldsmith has been interviewed on the Los Angeles affiliates of ABC, CBS and NBC. In 1992, one of his cases was profiled on the television shows "48 Hours" and "A Current Affair."

Gale Hammons

Director Gale Hammons spent more than a decade as the opinion editor of the Press-Enterprise before founding Hammons Strategies in 2014. Her current work centers on providing customized communications programs for clients in the Inland region. She has worked with Virginia Blumenthal since 2014 and has assisted Blumenthal & Moore, now Blumenthal & Moore, since 2015.

Heather A. Green

Heather A. Green earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside, before obtaining her law degree from California Southern Law School. Mrs. Green is a member of the Riverside County Bar Association and the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce. She handles all areas of criminal law, including indigent defense through VMB Attorneys. Prior to her work as an attorney, Mrs. Green interned with the 4th District Court of Appeals and was a courtroom assistant for six years in the Riverside County Superior Court. Mrs. Green also has been involved in the Riverside County Mock Trial program for many years, from participating as a team member to serving as an attorney scorer. Mrs. Green and her family have deep roots in the Riverside area and she appreciates the opportunity to serve her clients and community.

Kathleen Brannan

As controller, Kathleen Brannan handles payables, receivables, payroll and profit sharing plans for Blumenthal & Moore. She also is the firm's purchasing agent and human resources director. She joined Blumenthal & Moore in June of 2017 and previously was CFO for Ameritron, Inc. for more than 20 years. Ms. Brannan has volunteered for many years at her local church. She has taught adult small groups and participated as a worship team member and prayer/visitation team member. Ms. Brannan was elected to the church board in 2013 and currently serves as church treasurer.

Roberta A. Garcia
