Breck joined BND Commercial in July 2011 after earning her real estate license earlier the same year. She currently specializes in office, retail and industrial brokerage and is the lead contact for both major downtown development projects: AWB Condos and The Harrison.
An active community leader, she has been involved with numerous organizations, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Team in Training), Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer, Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana and the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce.
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Breck attended IPFW and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies and minors in both Psychology and Organizational Leadership and Supervision. During her entire college career, she interned with several real estate companies, gaining valuable knowledge of the industry.
Breck is a member of Pine Hills Church, where she and her husband, Brian, were married in 2013. In her free time, Breck enjoys running, golfing and spending time with her family.

Brian joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. Currently he is president of our full-service property management division, serving office, industrial, commercial and residential real estate clients.
Prior to joining Goldstine Knapke, Brian was Managing Director for another local real estate firm in Fort Wayne, and he brings to BND more than 30 years experience in property and asset management, leasing and construction.
Brian graduated from Valparaiso University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting Systems.
A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, Brian is very involved in community projects. He is an active member of the Indiana Regional Minority Supplier District Council and serves on the board of the Dupont Medical Business Park Association.
Brian and his wife, Diane, have three children. In his spare time, Brian enjoys playing golf and is actively pursuing his private pilot license.
Carolyn joined BND in 2015 after more than a decade as an associate broker at another local commercial real estate company. She specializes in sales and lease transactions of all types including both investment and owner-occupied properties and has become the go-to broker for office and land in northeastern Indiana.
Carolyn earned a BA from Ball State University in Marketing and Public Relations. She is the current vice president of the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBR) and secretary of the Risk Management Association. She is also a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), which is the highest designation to be awarded to an industrial or office commercial realtor and of which only a small percentage are women.
Prior to her real estate career, Carolyn spent more than ten years in the Fort Wayne financial industry, including a position as Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for 3 Rivers.
Carolyn is a Fort Wayne native who remains passionate about serving her community through various non-profit boards and committees, including such organizations as SCAN, Fort Wayne Women's Bureau, East Wayne Street Center, Mental Health of America, the American Heart Association and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. She has been a YWCA Tribute to Women recipient as well as a Future 40 honoree. She is also an active member of WOWnet and former president of the group.
Carolyn has three children: Spencer 27, Garrett 23, and Mallory 16. They enjoy sports, traveling and lake activities as a family.
Chris joined BND Commercial in 2009 after selling his share of a profitable truck dealership that he co-owned for 17 years. He currently provides service in commercial sales and leasing of retail, office and industrial properties.
Chris is a graduate of Indiana University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in General Studies. After college, he moved to Indianapolis where he opened and successfully operated a small chain of retail stores. Chris sold his interest in those businesses and moved back home to Fort Wayne in 1990.
An avid golf enthusiast, Chris serves on the Board of Directors and is co-owner of Pine Valley Country Club.
Chris is married to his wife, Leslye, and they are the proud parents of three children. He enjoys ice hockey and all outdoor sporting activities and is an active volunteer with the youth of our community.
Dave joined BND Commercial in April 2011. He began his real estate career in 2004, forming his own residential real estate company focused on property management and investment. Prior to 2004, Dave was an Account Executive with Lincoln National Risk Management and Computer Sciences Corp.
An active community leader, he is involved in numerous organizations, including Emmanuel Community Church, The League for the Blind, and Charis House Rescue Ministries.
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Dave attended Indiana Wesleyan University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
In his spare time, he enjoys golf and other outdoor activities. He and his wife, Jennifer, also actively support the interests of their six children.
David joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. He began his career in real estate in 1968, and has served the northeast Indiana commercial market for more than 20 years.
David is a graduate of Butler University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Psychology. He is a member of the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors (ICBR), and the Northeast Indiana Commercial and Industrial Brokers. He has previously served as the President of the Fort Wayne and Director of the Indiana Association of REALTORS and was named Realtor of the Year in 1975.
An active local volunteer, David serves as board chairman for the Lost Valley Ranch and is a trustee for Search Ministries. He is a board member of the Fort Wayne Area Youth for Christ. He also serves as an elder teacher for The Chapel.
David has been married to his wife, Sally, for over 50 years. They have three children and six grandchildren.
David specializes in the sales and leasing of large industrial, office, retail and investment properties in Northern Indiana. He began his real estate career in 1999 as a commercial broker for a major northeast Indiana real estate company. Prior to that time, he owned and operated a successful dental and medical supply company that was eventually sold to Henry Schein, the nation's largest dental retailer. In 2004, he partnered with Karl Behrens and David Nugent to form BND Commercial Real Estate. He is also a co-owner of a local investment / real estate firm that manages and leases a high volume of retail and industrial space in northeast Indiana.
David is a graduate of Indiana University School of Business with a degree in Finance. He is currently in the process of completing his Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) certifications.
He is an active community participant, David serves on the board of Pine Valley Country Club and, along with their three children, he and his wife are active members of St. Vincent's parish.

David has earned his living in the commercial real estate industry for more than 20 years. He has come to be recognized as one of the top brokers in northeast Indiana. David has extensive experience with industrial, retail, office, and investment properties ranging from the sale and leasing of single tenant net leased industrial properties to the sale and leasing of neighborhood and community shopping centers.
David is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS (SIOR), which is the highest designation to be awarded to an industrial or office commercial realtor. He has also received his professional designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), which demonstrates his expertise in finance.
For more than 30 years, David has been recognized as a leader in the business community and has been repeatedly honored as a top producer in the commercial real estate industry. He has been an active participant on numerous committees at local, state and national levels. Honors include:

Deb joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. She began her property management career in 1990 as a residential manager for a company in Columbus, Ohio. She has worked for more than 20 years in Fort Wayne and currently provides property management services in Class A Development. Based on tenant responses, Deborah was voted #1 Property Manager three times in a national brokerage portfolio.

Gary joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. He began his career in real estate in 1987 and currently focuses on northeast Indiana area businesses. Gary worked in commercial lending for a local bank for three years and was in residential real estate sales for five years. Since that time he has been active in all areas of commercial real estate.
Gary is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is a member of the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBOR), NAR, and is a candidate to earn his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.
An active volunteer of his Lake George community, Gary is a board member and secretary of the Lake George Sewer District and is past president of the local Lions' Club chapter.
Gary and his wife, Jane, have one daughter, Jessica, and three grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, sailing and spending time on the lake with his family.

Jake joined BND in 2020 as a Development Assistant. He helps with the building and marketing of special projects such as retail shopping centers, sports facilities, and commercial buildings.
Jake is a 2019 graduate of Ball State University. He has a double major in Business Administration and Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
He enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family and friends at Lake James, and playing hockey. Jake is also the manager and recruiter for a new junior hockey team in Fort Wayne, The Fort Wayne Spacemen. This team assists young players in getting recruited to play college hockey.

Janet joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. She began her career in the mortgage loan department of Fort Wayne National Bank in 1967. Janet has worked in the commercial real estate industry since 1982 and joined GK in 1988. She has assisted the same brokers for 28 years.
A graduate of International Business College in Fort Wayne, Janet earned her degree in Secretarial Sciences.
Janet is a member of the Amicitia Extension Homemakers Club. She has previously served the Huntington Extension Homemakers Organization at the county level and served on the Huntington County Extension Board as its president. She is a past district director for the Indiana Business and Professional Women's Clubs and served on the Roanoke Library Board for 16 years. Janet was chosen as a recipient of the Golden Friend Award, given for service to the Roanoke Library as a member of the Friends of the Library organization.
Janet and Dave, her husband of nearly 45 years, are attendees of The Chapel, where she has served in the area of missions support and been active on the discipleship team. They have one grown son, Chris, and two grandchildren. In her spare time, Janet enjoys baking, cross-stitching and spending time with family, friends and their two beagles.

Karen joined BND in 2015, bringing with her more than 30 years of real estate experience. She specializes in sales and lease transactions of all types including both investment and owner-occupied properties.
Karen is a graduate of Indiana University's Realtors Institute and also has an Associate's Degree in Accounting from International Business College. She is a charter member and district director of the Indiana Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ICBOR) and the former state director of the Indiana Association of REALTORS®. She is also a former member of the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), which is the highest designation given to an industrial or office commercial realtor, and previously served as president of the IN-KY chapter.
As a Fort Wayne native who remains passionate about serving her community through various non-profit boards and committees, Karen has been involved with such organizations as the Embassy Theater and Rotary International and is the current President of the Dave Hefner International Board. She has been honored by Who's Who in Real Estate as well as Who's Who - Women in Business. She is a frequent speaker for the Women Business Owners Association.

Michelle started her career at BND in 2007 and worked in the real estate industry for more than ten years prior to that. As the founder / president of her own mortgage loan signing company, she closed more than 1,500 loans for the top-producing mortgage companies in the country. Michelle has also performed marketing and research functions for local title companies. Prior to her work in the real estate industry, Michelle worked for the graphics division of an international advertising and marketing company for 8 years.
She is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a concentration in Marketing.
Michelle served as the Director of Marketing until 2023, when she was promoted to Vice President of Operations. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities, internal and external company communications, policy implementation, budgetary considerations, non-profit coordination, company team building and multiple special projects as necessary.
She and her husband, Scott, have a blended family with six children and three grandchildren. In their leisure time, they enjoy socializing with friends and travelling to visit warmer climates.

Karl is recognized as one of the leading commercial real estate professionals in northeast Indiana. He has been in the industry since 1991 and serving northeast Indiana since 1993. In his career, he has completed more than 1,000 transactions totaling a volume of $200,000,000 and over 10,000,000 square feet of commercial space.
Karl is a founding partner and principal broker of BND Commercial, where he has been top producer in 2005, 2007 and 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015. Prior to BND, he was Executive Vice President of a competing northeast Indiana real estate company, where he was the top producer in 1999 & 2002. He began his career at FC Tucker (now Cushman Wakefield) in Indianapolis.
Karl is past president of the Indiana/Kentucky Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. SIOR is the highest designation to be awarded to an industrial or office commercial realtor. He has also received his professional designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). This designation is awarded to those who complete graduate curriculum that focuses on marketing, marketing evaluation and investment analysis.
Karl is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in marketing and accounting.
An active leader in our community, Karl has been involved in numerous charitable and business organizations: Jorgenson YMCA - Board President, Youth for Christ, Fort Wayne Golf Association - Board Member, Volunteer at The Chapel. Phil is owner of N. B. Knapke Company, which has developed, managed and brokered millions of square feet of retail, industrial and office properties in northeast Indiana.
Phil joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. He has worked in all areas of commercial real estate, with a focus on development. In 1992, Phil, Steve Wesner and David Norton founded the Goldstine Knapke Company. He was part of the land acquisition team for the Fort Wayne General Motors plant and has developed many industrial and retail centers in northeast Indiana. He currently manages over 1.2 million square feet of properties.
Phil is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a member of the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors (ICBOR), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Indiana Economic Development Association and the Indiana Association of REALTORS.®
Phil and his wife, Sherry, live in Fort Wayne. They have three children and six grandchildren.

Rachel joined the BND team in 2017 as a broker's assistant. Prior to that she worked for several years in customer service, human resources and in an administrative role.
She serves a vital role at BND, wearing many hats as an assistant to several brokers, company tech expert and phone system guru.
Recently, Rachel was promoted to Executive Brokerage Administrator. In this new position she will assist the managing partner, oversee the administrative team, explore and implement procedural improvements, recruit and train new employees and work on special projects.
Rachel and her husband Andrew have two daughters and a son. She enjoys camping, kayaking and spending time with family and friends.
Roger joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. He began his career in commercial real estate in 1972 and joined Joe Goldstine and Son in 1976. His prior experience includes a career in banking with an Indianapolis firm. Roger has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate sales and leasing, including office, retail, land and industrial/warehouse properties. He also provides consulting, investment analysis and tenant/landlord representation. Roger is a consistently high achiever, responsible for the most transactions at BND from 2012-2015.
Roger graduated from Indiana University in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
An active community leader, he is involved in numerous organizations, including the National Association of Realtors and the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors (ICBOR). He has previously served on the board for Lutheran Social Services as well as Concordia Lutheran Church and School.
Roger and his wife, Bette, have two children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening and traveling.

A respected Auburn businessman, Ron joined BND Commercial in 2012 and focuses his brokerage efforts in the area north of Fort Wayne where he has spent most of his life.
Born and raised in Garrett, Indiana, Ron has been a part of his family business, Corunna Bedding and Furniture Company, since 1974. After studying business at Indiana University, he became head of design and manufacturing and eventually coowner of the company in 1994.
An active community leader, Ron serves as finance officer for the Auburn Squadron of the Sons of the American Legion. His business has donated to numerous charitable organizations over the years and is also a member of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.
Ron and his wife, Kristie, have two daughters. The family attends County Line Church of God and enjoys spending their summer weekends together on Crooked Lake.

Steve joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. He began his career in commercial real estate in 1962 and has served the northeast Indiana market for more than 50 years.

As an active local volunteer, Steve serves as board president for the Robert Goldstine Foundation, which provides funding for economic development, the arts, civic projects, human services and, in general, strives to make Allen County a better place to live and grow a business. He has previously served on the Trustee Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs.
Steve has been married to his wife, Keitha, for nearly 55 years. They have two sons and three grandchildren. He, along with both his sons and both his grandsons, have achieved the highly respected designation of Eagle Scout. Steve also enjoys all water sports and is an avid in-line skater.

Todd joined BND Commercial as part of the Goldstine Knapke acquisition in August 2010. He began his career in real estate in 1995 and is currently a partner with RCI Development, an affiliate of BND that specializes in the development of residential subdivisions, manufactured housing, self-storage facilities, retail shopping centers, multi- and single-tenant retail buildings, industrial parks and sporting complexes. Prior to working in real estate, Todd owned an insurance investigation firm and a real estate auctioneering company.
Todd is a graduate of Ball State University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. He is actively involved with the Fort Wayne Youth Hockey League and the Pine Valley Junior Golf Program.
Todd and his wife, Jill, have three boys: Alec, Jake and Nick. In his spare time, he enjoys hockey, golf and deep sea fishing.
