Jack English

Jack English is a television producer and co-owner of Broadcast Solutions, LLC. in Atlanta, Georgia. Jack served as production manager on the A&E Series, First Flights with Neil Armstrong in the early 1990s and was executive producer of the award-winning documentary, The South Takes Flight: 100 Years of Aviation in Georgia. Jack has been president of the Atlanta Producers Association, and with his company, now licenses high definition aerial stock footage for use in movies and television. Jack recently won an Emmy Award for his work with Ambassador Andrew Young. His company, Broadcast Solutions is part of the new Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Terminal art projects with a major video display in the Customs Atrium. Born in Hempstead, Long Island, Jack is a graduate of Kansas State University. In his youth, he served in the military and was a decorated Army Medical Service Officer in Vietnam. Jack has two highly successful daughters, two grandsons and one new granddaughter.

John Weatherford

John Weatherford has worked in broadcasting for more than 40 years. He began his television career as a reporter, producer and anchor at WFBC-TV in Greenville South Carolina while studying at Furman University. Two years later, he moved to Atlanta and began working for WAGA-TV as a reporter, anchor and executive producer. In 1993, John founded four companies in Atlanta, where he wrote, produced and directed for clients including Chevron, Coca-Cola, Meeks Heit Publishing Company, Reebok, Saab, Sears Roebuck & Co., Turner Broadcasting and Warner Bros. International. He also worked with Georgia Public Broadcasting, Scholastic and others producing educational video series. In 2004, he began working at Public Broadcasting Atlanta as Senior Vice President and General Manager and later became the Chief Operating Officer. John has recently worked on projects for Coles College of Business, Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, Kennesaw State University, The Vampire Diaries and the Georgia Association of Broadcasters. He also has done voiceover work Coles College of Business, Georgia Association of Broadcasters, Georgia Farm Bureau, Georgia Power, Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, Kennesaw State University Foundation, Georgia Chapter of National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Georgia Office of the Attorney General and Roosevelt Warm Springs. You may also recognize his voice in Broadcast Solutions' World War II documentary - The "Golden Isles at War." He also helped research, write and select music for the documentary.

Russ Jamieson

Russ has been involved in television and/or radio nearly all of his life. Upon graduation in 1976 from the University of Missouri School of Journalism (BJ), he was immediately hired as news director for KTGR/KTGC AM/FM, in Columbia, Missouri. Russ then spent 13 years with WAGA in Atlanta as a general assignment reporter and three years with CNN Southeast as a freelance correspondent. For the last decade, Russ and Jack English have been partners in Broadcast Solutions and Southeast Stockfootage, producing and delivering content for Georgia Public Broadcasting and corporate clients. In 2008, Broadcast Solutions produced, shot and fundraised for the Telly Award winning High Definition Documentary, The South Takes Flight. Southeast Stockfootage is the largest high definition aerials library in the Southeast serving the film, video and television industries.
