Dr. Andrew Kokabi

Dr. Andrew Kokabi has lived in the Atlanta area for over 30 years. He grew up in Norcross and subsequently attended The Georgia Institute of Technology where he obtained his biological science degree. After graduating with highest honors, he then attended The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University (formerly known as the Medical College of Georgia) where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. Dr. Kokabi is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, & the Hinman Dental Society. He is a faculty member at The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Oral Rehabilitation Department. He regularly volunteers at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic. Dr. Kokabi & his wife have lived and worked in Brookhaven since 2009. They always knew they wanted to be a part of a vibrant neighborhood where they could serve the community. In his spare time, Dr. Kokabi loves spending time with his wife, sons & two dogs. He is an avid sports fan who loves all Atlanta teams. The Atlanta Falcons are number one in his heart, despite having repeatedly broken it over the years. Live music is another passion, having attended over 300 concerts. Some of his favorite bands are Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Oasis & Weezer. He always enjoys a good conversation about sports or music.

Dr. Joon Koh

Dr. Joon Koh is originally from Augusta. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with highest honors. He was the president of the pre-dental society and still visits the campus regularly to mentor students striving to become dentists. Dr. Joon attended the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University (formerly known as the Medical College of Georgia), where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine with Distinction in Research. He was a part of numerous research projects and co-authored a research article published in the Journal of Head and Neck Pathology on the topic of Proliferative Verrucous Leukoplakia (PVL). Dr. Joon was awarded the top oral pathology student award and participated in the Honors Endodontics Course. He was also the president of the DCG chapter of American Academy of Public Health Dentistry. Dr. Joon is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, where he was certified for BOTOX and dermal filler injections. Dr. Joon also regularly volunteers at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic. He has been volunteering his time at this free dental clinic for 9 years. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, gaming, and exploring new restaurants with family and friends.
