Bridget Metzo, DPM is a board certified podiatric physician and surgeon practicing in Joliet and Lockport, IL.
Dr. Metzo's extensive education began at the University of Scranton, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011. She also attended Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and graduated in 2014 with a Master of Science in Bioengineering. Dr. Metzo went on to earn her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine four years later at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL. Her postgraduate training included a residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. Dr. Metzo served as Chief Resident for the final year of this 3-year podiatric residency program.
Dr. Metzo is on staff at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox and Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Metzo is a member of American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association.
