My Approach… Life is all about relationships! Healthy communication is of utmost importance to survive the difficult situations families, couples and friends often face. I come from a Family Systems perspective to develop these relationships. I also utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach when working with individuals to help explore and identify cognitive distortions and develop reality based thinking. We work together to develop goals for what you would like to achieve. The skills you develop help you to be successful in all areas of life…school, home, career, relationships. Life can throw you a curve sometimes, and the pain and confusion can get you off track. We will work toward healing the pain so so can develop a strong sense of self to overcome life's difficult moments. The work we do together is done at your pace in an emotionally safe and nurturing environment.
