Aaron K. Turner joined Capitol Agency as a Personal Lines Account Manager in January of 2022, and holds Property & Casualty licenses in both Kansas and Missouri. Aaron is a graduate of UMKC with a Bachelors of Arts in English, and enjoys listening to music, reading, writing, and visiting with his 9 nieces and nephews in his spare time. He also enjoys cheering on his favorite teams, the Kansas State Wildcats and the Los Angeles Rams.

Amanda Lutz joined Capitol Agency® in 2017 and brought 10 years of insurance industry experience with her to the team. She is licensed in Kansas and Missouri for Property, Casualty, Life, and Health lines, and holds the CISR & AINS designations.
Born and raised in Kansas, Amanda graduated from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and currently lives in Lawrence with her husband, son, and two English bulldogs. She is passionate about her community and loves volunteering for local non-profits and taking litter walks around town. When she isn't at work or volunteering, you can usually find Amanda watching ‘80s movies, taking fitness classes, or doing crafty things.

Brian joined Capitol Agency® in December 2021 with more than 25 years of experience in Medicare, Property & Casualty, Commercial, Health and Builder's Risk insurance. As a former agency owner, he was recognized as a top performer in Missouri for overall customer retention. Brian earned his master's in business administration from Avila University and his undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri. He's an Eagle Scout, a long-time Meals on Wheels volunteer and a die-hard sports fan. Outside of the Capitol Agency, you can usually find Brian at The K cheering on his beloved Kansas City Royals.

Elizabeth "Buffy" joined Capitol Agency® in May 2019 with over 6 years of experience in the Insurance Industry including experience in personal, commercial, life and health insurance. Buffy is licensed in Kansas and Missouri for Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance.
Outside of work Buffy loves to spend time with her 2 daughters and visiting with friends. Being a KC native, she enjoys attending sporting events , live music performances, and the arts. Go Royals!

Byron is an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs/Royals.

Ed started in insurance as a Commercial Underwriter with American State Insurance in Ft. Scott, KS in 1987. He started with Capitol Agency® in 2002 as an Office Assistant, then left to become a coffeehouse owner/operator in Idaho Falls, ID from 2005-2006. Later, Ed returned to Capitol Agency in 2007 as an Account Executive. Ed has his CPCU and AIP designations. In his spare time, Ed enjoys golf, reading, hunting, and fishing. Ed is licensed in Kansas & Missouri for Property & Casualty, Life and Health insurance.

Heather joined Capitol Agency® in 2021 with outside professional experience since 2012. Before joining the insurance industry, Heather worked in healthcare doing corporate marketing. Heather is a University of Kansas alum with dual degrees in Marketing and Management. She is licensed in Kansas and Missouri for Property & Casualty and Life insurance.
Outside of work, you can find Heather at bowling league, board game nights, and book club. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her rescue dog, Buster.

Krista has been in the insurance industry since 2012 after working as a corrections officer for 7 years. Michael started his career with Capitol Federal® back in 2007 as a full-time teller. Since then, he has held various roles ranging from consumer and mortgage lending to banking retail management and has been an active participant on the company's charity committee for the past ten years. After 11 years on the banking operations side, Michael made the switch to Capitol Agency® as an Account Manager, and is licensed in Kansas and Missouri for Property, Casualty, Life, and Heath lines. He holds an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Kansas City Kansas Community College and a Minister's License from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
Outside of work, Michael can be found cooking, traveling, and volunteering within the community. Michael is one of ten children born and raised in Kansas City and understands the importance of family values. He and his husband hope to one day raise a family, but in the meantime are satisfied spoiling three dogs they have rescued from local shelters.

Morgan joined Capitol Agency as a Personal Lines Account Manager in October of 2020. As an Account Manager, Morgan is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri and holds a Property & Casualty license as well as a Life Insurance license. With four years' industry experience, she has in-depth knowledge in handling all aspects of Personal and Commercial Insurance.
In 2014, Morgan graduated from Kansas State University with a BS in Geology, and again in 2016 with a MS in Geology while also serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Her educational experience led her to pursue a career as a Wellsite Geologist before becoming a Licensed Insurance Producer in order to be home with her family on a regular basis.
As a former educator, Morgan is truly passionate about helping others. Whether you're an existing client or you're new to the agency, Morgan is eager to help you with quotes, policy questions, changes, claims and billing inquires - making her an essential part of the team. She enjoys sharing her insurance expertise with clients while getting to know them and finds that this personalized approach allows her to provide customized coverage that pertains to each client's specific set of risks, instead of defaulting to a "standard" policy. She believes that because each person's risks are different, their insurance policies should reflect accordingly.
While out of office, Morgan enjoys going to the lake with friends & family, being a Bonus Mom to her sweet 6-year-old step daughter, Niyah, and being a Fur Mama to her very spoiled Golden Retriever/Black Lab, Phoebe.

Natalie joined Capitol Agency® in 2010 as an Account Manager, and after holding several positions at the agency over the years, was promoted to Agency Manager in November of 2018. She is licensed in Kansas and Missouri for Property, Casualty, Life, and Heath lines, and holds the CISR designation. Natalie is a Stephens College alum, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kiddos, and being a part of Kansas City's Theatre community.
