Dr. Heather Manning

Dr. Manning earned her DVM from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Returning to her home state of New Hampshire after graduation, she has practiced small animal medicine, ultimately pursing her dream to work in feline medicine, joining our practice in 2020. She has special interest in internal medicine and endrocrinology, as well as preventative care medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Before vet school she studied at the University of New Hampshire. She lives in central New Hampshire with her husband and feline companions.

Dr. Joann Young

In 2001, Dr. Young fulfilled her dream of building and operating a hospital exclusively for cats. This, of course, is The Cat Doctor of Dover. She owned and managed the practice until 2018, before selling the practice to her long-time colleague, Dr. Davis. In March of 2019 she treated herself to a well-deserved retirement. Although no longer a practitioner at our hospital, Dr. Young's values and example continue to inspire the current team!

Dr. Sharon Davis

A lifelong caretaker and advocate for animals, Dr. Davis has been a veterinarian since earning her DVM from Tufts University's Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. After graduating, she put down her veterinary roots right here in southeastern New Hampshire. Dr. Davis honed her craft as an associate and relief vet over sixteen years at several distinguished practices, focusing on general medicine, wellness, surgery, and emergency care. She joined The Cat Doctor of Dover in 2007, and became the practice owner in 2018. Dr. Davis is a general medicine and surgical practitioner, is federally accredited to write international health certificates, and is DEA licensed. She has a special interest in internal medicine, dentistry, and behavioral medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the NH Veterinary Medical Association. A transplant from Lynn, Massachusetts, Dr. Davis attended the University of New Hampshire, earning a Bachelor of Science degree there. She and her family (husband, kids, cats) live right here in Dover.
