Alan Burnett has focused his practice on aircraft transactions since 2001, representing domestic and foreign clients including private individuals, sovereign governments and companies of all sizes in hundreds of aircraft transactions, including structuring deals and aircraft ownership and usage, which has earned him an international reputation as an expert in his field.

Stefanie Erickson

Stefanie Erickson joined the CenterPoint Aviation Law team in October 2014. Prior to joining CenterPoint Aviation Law, Stefanie practiced transactional aviation law at a large law firm. Stefanie is an experienced transactional aviation attorney, advising domestic and international clients regarding the purchase, sale, lease, ownership and operation of aircraft. Stefanie specializes in drafting and negotiating letters of intent/offer letters, aircraft purchase agreements and leases. She is also experienced with negotiating and documenting financial arrangements for aircraft owners. Stefanie provides comprehensive counsel to clients on aviation matters including compliance with Part 91 and Part 135 of Federal Aviation Regulations; aircraft registration on the FAA Registry, Cape Town International Registry, and foreign registries; risk management; insurance; charter and aircraft management agreements; aircraft sharing arrangements and corporate structuring. Stefanie earned a J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan and a B.A. from the University of Calgary in Canada. She is a member of the National Business Aviation Association, Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association, and the aviation section of the King County Bar Association.

Stephanie Burnett

Stephanie Burnett assists clients with every step of the purchase and sale, lease and exchange of new and previously owned private, business and corporate aircraft. She advises aircraft owners and operators on FAA and International Registry registration, operational structuring under Parts 91 and 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations, state and federal tax planning and financing, insurance, risk management, import/export and other issues related to private aircraft transactions. In 2008, Stephanie co-founded CenterPoint Aviation Law PLLC in Seattle, Washington. Before co-founding CenterPoint Aviation Law, Stephanie practiced transactional aviation law at a small transactional aviation boutique firm, and previously she was an engineer on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Human Machine Interface team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Corporation. Stephanie has represented domestic and international clients in hundreds of aircraft purchases, fractional share purchases and third-party leases. Stephanie is a member of the National Business Aviation Association, Pacific Northwest Business Aviation Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Women in Aviation, aviation section of the King County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Washington State. Stephanie earned her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, and her Bachelor degree in Human Factors from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating cum laude.
