He performs routine and complex omphalic surgery and has pioneered many innovative new surgical procedures in Australia. His clinical expertise is matched by his unwavering commitment to patient outcomes. He is the Founder and Principal Surgeon of Central Sydney Eye Surgeons. He is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Save Sight Institute - University of Sydney, and holds the position of Honorary Visiting Medical Officer in Ophthalmology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Brian is known for delivering personalised, and clinically excellent care that reflects both his humanity and clinical acumen. He has vast experience in the treatment of diabetic eye disease and for over 30+ years he has been actively involved in both clinical practice and research at the Diabetes Centre at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Brian's special interests are in refractive surgery, corneal laser eye surgery and cataract surgery using implantable devices to enhance vision. He is a leading expert in surgery to correct refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, or presbyopia, using the latest refractive surgery techniques. Brian has pioneered several surgical procedures in Australia and is highly respected by his peers. Brian was the first surgeon in Australia to use the SML magnifying lens (an inbuilt magnifying system) for the treatment of severe macular disease. This facilitates reading in patients who have lost vision. He has performed over 30,000+ cataract procedures, with the principal aim of individualised care in a customised patient-centric manner. Patients can choose between distance, near or combination vision correction. The optimal lens will be carefully selected and implanted. During his career at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital he has seen extensive systemic disease involving the eye. Dr Diana Farlow

Dr Diana Farlow is a highly experienced general ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon. She has 30+ years of clinical experience. Her areas of interest and expertise include all dry eye disease conditions, ocular surface conditions, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology as well as general ophthalmology. Dr Farlow sees private patients only. Dr Farlow completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney. She also completed a Bachelor of Science (Medical) at the University of Sydney with Distinction in Neurophysiology. She completed her internship and residency at St George Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital before being offered ophthalmology training positions at both Sydney Eye Hospital and the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney. Dr Farlow undertook her training as an eye surgeon under the tutelage of the late Prof Fred Hollows at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick. Dr Farlow is the Past Chair of the NSW State Branch Committee of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO). She provides lectures and training to optometrists and general practitioners on a regular basis.

Dr Kenny Chan

Dr Kenny Chan is an experienced ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon with a sub-specialised interest in oculoplastic surgery. He has 10+ years of clinical experience and his areas of expertise include eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery, cataract surgery and general ophthalmology. Dr Chan studied medicine and surgery at the University of Melbourne, after being awarded the prestigious Melbourne National Scholarship. After graduating with honours, he underwent general ophthalmology training at the Sydney Eye Hospital. After completing a fellowship in comprehensive ophthalmology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, he undertook additional sub-specialty fellowship training in Oculoplastics Surgery in Liverpool, UK and the Singapore National Eye Centre in Singapore. Dr Chan also has a special interest in refractive surgery, having completed a Graduate Diploma in Refractive Surgery at the University of Sydney. Dr Chan has a strong interest in clinical research and teaching. He has published multiple papers in local and international peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research at international conferences such as the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society and the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He regularly attends international meetings to stay at the forefront of current techniques and technology. He is involved teaching registrars and medical students, having been appointed as a conjoint associate lecturer at both the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales. Dr Luke Northey

Dr Luke Northey is an ophthalmologist with sub-specialty training in corneal, glaucoma, and cataract surgery. Dr Northey completed ophthalmology training at the Sydney Eye Hospital where he worked as the professorial senior registrar and served as the chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists trainee representative group. He undertook Fellowship training in glaucoma at Westmead Hospital, Sydney, gaining expertise in incisional and microinvasive glaucoma surgical techniques in addition to medical and laser glaucoma therapies. He then completed a cornea, external eye diseases, and refractive surgery Fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. During this Fellowship, he gained experience in all aspects of corneal transplant surgery, complicated cataract surgery, pterygium surgery, and surface-based therapeutic and refractive laser procedures. Dr Northey was awarded the Sydney Hospitallers' Norman Rose and the RANZCO Trevelyn-Smith travelling scholarships in support of his Fellowship training. Dr Noni Lewis is a highly experienced, fellowship trained ophthalmic surgeon with a sub-specialist interest in corneal and cataract surgery. She has 20+ years of clinical experience and her areas of expertise include corneal surgery, including corneal crosslinking and corneal transplants, cataract and refractive surgery, laser eye surgery and general ophthalmology. Dr Lewis is an active Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and has served on the NSW State Branch Committee. She has been an advisor to the ophthalmology clinical indicators committee of the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) and contributed to State-wide Ophthalmology Services / Agency of Clinical Innovation Cornea and Cataract working groups. Dr Lewis provides CPD lectures and meetings for medical professionals and optometrists and has served on the organising committee for ophthalmology conferences. She has also provided services to Outback and rural NSW including Bourke, Griffith and other locations through the Outback Eye Service based at the Prince of Wales Hospital.
