Avinash Sud

Dr. Sud completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He then attended medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He headed north to Michigan State University in Lansing, MI where he began his medical residency in pediatrics. He completed his radiology residency at the University of West Virginia. He completed fellowships at the University of Michigan in Nuclear Medicine and Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in Neuroradiology. "I really enjoy problem-solving" stated Dr. Sud when asked why he chose radiology. When away from the office, Dr. Sud enjoys restoring classic cars, flying airplanes and helicopters, and spending time with his family. He and his wife have 8 children.

Chip Kyle

Dr. Kyle received his M.D. from the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee in 1986. He served his transitional internship and completed his residency in radiology at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. He enjoys cycling and being outdoors. Dr. Kyle and his wife have three children, a son and two daughters.

Ernie Gray

Dr. Gray grew up in Rhea County. After high school, he completed his undergrad at Vanderbilt University before attending the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis. His internship year was spent at UT College of Medicine at Erlanger before heading to Savannah Memorial Hospital for his residency. Dr. Gray then completed his fellowship training at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC specializing in Pediatric Radiology and Neurological Radiology.

Gregory Verville

Dr. Verville received his M.D. from the University of Manitoba in Manitoba, Canada. He is Board Certified in family and emergency medicine. In addition, he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. His postgraduate work includes a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. It was while working in Emergency Medicine that Dr. Verville discovered his interest in radiology. "So often radiology was involved in the diagnosing and treatment of my patients." Dr. Verville is an avid cyclist and mountain biker. He also enjoys snowboarding and golf. Dr. Verville's family consists of himself, his wife, and their two children.

James Martin

Dr. Martin completed his undergrad degree at The University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. He then attended medical school at The University of Tennessee in Memphis. His residency and his fellowship were both performed at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Dr. Martin has also been awarded the prestigious Fellow of the American College of Radiology, the highest honor bestowed by the ACR.

John Johnston

Dr. Johnston attended Georgetown University in Washington DC. He then completed medical school at the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He chose to attend St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL for his residency. His fellowship in Neuroradiology was completed at Georgetown University.

John Nunes

Dr. Nunes attended Oglethorpe University prior to being accepted to the University of South Florida Medical School. He completed both his residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia College of Medicine. He is fellowship trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology.

Lee Lefler

Dr. Lefler completed his undergrad at the University of Georgia and his medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. His residency was completed at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN. He performed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal and MRI at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Martin Simms

Dr. Simms received his M.D. from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Manitoba, in 1989. He completed a rotating internship at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Dr. Simms completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Victoria General Hospital, Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dr. Simms concluded his formal training with a fellowship in abdominal imaging at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Simms joined Associates in Diagnostic Radiology (ADR) in the summer of 1996 and currently serves as the practice chair.

Robert Whittaker

Dr. Whittaker graduated from East Tennessee State University. He then completed medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He completed 2 years of general surgical residency at UT Erlanger College of Medicine, and a radiology residency at Memorial Hospital of Savannah in Savannah, GA. He then completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.

Trey Carr

Dr. Carr graduated from Washington and Lee University. He then completed medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. His residency and fellowship were both completed at the University of Virginia College of Medicine. Dr. Carr is a leading specialist in breast imaging and is highly sought after by area physicians. When he's not in the office he is spending time with his wife and their 3 daughters.
