CHAMPION ALUMINUM

Champion Aluminum Corp. was founded in 1952 as a manufacturer and supplier of storm windows and doors. In 1968 Champion moved to Syosset, New York, in response to growth in its business and customer base. The building in Syosset was the headquarters for Champion's manufacturing of storm windows and doors until 1983, at which point the evolving market caused a shift in focus to replacement windows with the development and successful launch of its Series 2500 tilt-in double hung window. Due to the large increase in sales resulting from the success of its newly introduced replacement line, Champion expanded its facility in 1984 from 30,000 square feet to 45,000 square feet. Over time, Champion began to introduce more products, and this expansion caused the company to purchase its neighboring building in 1997 to provide an additional 35,000 square feet for production, and also to begin doing business as Champion Window and Door...
