CHR LOIZIDES & SON LTD was originally established by the late Christos Loizides on the 10th February 1926 as a small grocery store in the old part of Nicosia under the name CHR. LOIZIDES COLONIAL GROCERY STORE. From the beginning the business was involved in high quality foodstaffs some of them imported directly from manufacturers abroad... In 1938 the business was relocated in a larger store and direct imports increased substantially. The firm started to supply on a wholesale basis other small shops and good hotels all over Cyprus.
