CIT NEPAL

Center for Information Technology (CIT) Nepal is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization working on ICT for development and social transformation. It was established in 2004 by a group of volunteers and experts working on different sectors, including information technology, legal and government, agriculture, education and others... CIT Nepal started working in most conflict-affected districts such as Rukum and Bardiya when the Maoist insurgency was on the rise, establishing rural telecenters having own VSAT for internet connectivity. CIT expanded its programs to include 10 different districts with the help of different national and international collaborators.
