Bill Maples - COO

Mr. Maples has over 35 years of best in class manufacturing experience working in both large and mid-market operations. For the first 20 years of his career Mr. Maples worked at Emerson Electric Co. in St. Louis, MO holding positions of increasing tactical and strategic responsibility. Within Emerson Mr. Maples held the positions of: General Superintendent - Quality Control with responsibility for all mechanical inspection departments within the factory. Lead Supplier Quality Engineer with responsibility for the development and performance of the entire supply base, with special emphasis over the mechanical commodity suppliers. Mechanical Commodity Sourcing Manager and was responsible for strategic sourcing, contract negotiations and account management of the metal commodity supplier base. Upon leaving Emerson Mr. Maples joined Concise Fabricators, Inc in Tucson, Arizona with operations also in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. During this most recent 15 year period Mr. Maples has held the position of Materials Manager and was later promoted to the Director of Operations with responsibility for all materials, finance, human resources and production management activities over the US and Mexico facilities. Mr. Maples holds a degree in Business Administration.

Jerry Martinez

Jerry brings 19 years of experience to Concise with strong skills in drafting, engineering, manufacturing and quality management. Jerry takes prides in striving for perfection by promoting continuous improvement in all areas of production. Our motto at Concise is, "Pride in Perfection". Quality is emphasized in every component of our organization. The ultimate goals for our company are to produce customer products that meet or exceed their expectations and to deliver on a timely manner, through the support and interaction of all our employees. Prior to working for Concise, Jerry worked from 1993 to 2004 at Randell Manufacturing, Dover Industries. The specialty products fabricated were in the food service equipment arena. During the first years of his career at Randell, Jerry applied his engineering and drafting skills as a CNC programmer, draftsperson, and OEM account engineer. Many of the programs developed resulted in the various sheet metal components which fabricated top quality refrigeration and hot food table systems in the industry. Jerry was promoted into a Quality Engineer/Product Manager position that led me to oversee the entire quality department.

Jim Mannebach - Chairman

Jim is a Co-Founding Partner of Blackbird in 2008. Since formation, Blackbird has successfully completed six (6) acquisitions, subsequently selling one to a strategic investor. Mr. Mannebach's prior employment was with IMI Plc as President and Chief Executive Officer of Norgren. Norgren is a world leader in air and motion control, operating in all major global markets. The company has in excess of 30 plants in the Americas, Europe and Asia and employs approximately 7,000 people. During his tenure, Mr. Mannebach led Norgren to revenue of greater than $1.4 billion, growing sales volume by 74% over a four year period. In addition, Mr. Mannebach was responsible for doubling the company's operating profit margins during that same time. Mr. Mannebach is expert in global operations strategy, with particular focus on best cost production, lean manufacturing, global sourcing and supply chain optimization. Prior to joining Norgren, Mr. Mannebach served as the Group Vice President of Roper Industries' Industrial Business segment. While at Roper, Mr. Mannebach had $400 million of P/L responsibility, consisting of eight U.S. and European based businesses. Mr. Mannebach was also an active participant in Roper's aggressive acquisition-led value creation strategy, leading its largest acquisition of Neptune Technology Group ($475 million transaction value) and subsequent successful integration. Prior to joining Roper, Mr. Mannebach spent 15 years at Emerson Electric Co. in various senior general management and financial leadership roles. The positions held by Mr. Mannebach include, Emerson's Corporate Vice President, President of Emerson's Process Flow division ($500 million business), President of Micro Motion ($250 million business), Chief Financial Officer of Fisher-Rosemount ($3 billion business) and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Xomox Corporation ($200 million business). While in these positions, Mr. Mannebach led extensive domestic and international acquisition expansion initiatives and was instrumental in the development and subsequent launch of numerous market leading product platforms. Mr. Mannebach holds a Masters in Business Administration from Washington University in St Louis, a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Mannebach has been married for more than 31 years. He and his wife have 2 children and currently lives in both St Louis, MO and Tucson, AZ.

Matt Mannebach

Matt is the Director of Project Management, and has overall responsibility for the Project Management function at Concise. As Concise continues to grow and evolve, effective Project Management becomes increasingly critical to best serve and respond to our client's needs. Matt brings to the team a strong background in Project Management, having served in the profession for years as a Senior Project Manager at DCI Marketing, a point of purchase marketing company. Matt graduated from the University of Missouri with a Marketing degree. Matt graduated with honors and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society.

Todd Krause

Todd has been involved with mechanical commodities fabrication, sales and management for over 25 years. Although he started in the manufacturing engineering field, customer interface and project management has become the primary focus of his skills. He has worked extensively in materials management, sourcing, operations and sales in the US and Mexico markets and brings all of that knowledge to the Concise team. In addition to these activities he has also worked directly with OEMs in setting up manufacturing facilities in the Maquiladora programs in Mexico and is very familiar with the processes, capabilities and requirements for customer success in both the Mexican and US markets.
