As a songwriter, Denys is featured on several recordings and has performed original acoustic music with bands in the United States and Ireland.

Barbara Burgess, Ph.D. is President and CEO, of BBA Consulting Services, Inc, a consulting firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Burgess has 25 years of experience as a counselor, educator, administrator and consultant with a BS in Social Work, an MS in Counseling and a Ph.D in Administration and Policy Studies. She has worked with a variety of groups of all ages, ethnicity, and socio-economic backgrounds in both the corporate and non-profit world. Her expertise extends to all levels from board of directors and CEO's to front line staff. Dr. Burgess is a certified trainer in leadership, teambuilding, conflict mediation and diversity management, just to name a few but also designs and develops curricula in order to tailor workshops to meet client needs. Dr. James E. Henderson

Dr. James E. Henderson is Professor of Educational Leadership in the Duquesne University School of Education. Jim served as Dean of the School of Education from 1995 until 2003. During that time, the School of Education experienced unprecedented growth in student enrollment, in faculty scholarly productivity, and in the number of new degree and certification programs. From 1992 through 1999, he also was the founding Director of Duquesne's Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program for Educational Leaders (IDPEL), the School of Education's first doctoral program. In the seven years Jim had served as the program's founding director, IDPEL received national and international acclaim for the preparation of aspiring school superintendents and other school leaders.

John H. Bailey

John Bailey was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 26, 1945. He attended Southwestern State University where he graduated in 1968 wiith a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management. In 1974, he received his Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Michigan State University. He completed the University of Pittsburgh, Joseph M. Katz School of Business Management Program for Executives in May 1990. Upon completion of Officer Candidate School in Newport Rhode Island, he was commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy in July 1968. During his Navy career as a Supply Corps Officer, he was assigned to various commands around the world. As a Navy Captain, John attended the National War College and completed a one-year National Security Strategy Study. John received numerous military decorations and awards. After 28 years of honorable service, John retired as a Navy Captain in 1996, with demonstrated experience in marketing, contract management, acquisition, and program development. Following his retirement, he assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer for a major law firm. In September 1997, John became President/CEO of Volunteers of America Bay Area, Inc. John is a lecturer and public speaker. In addition, he has provided consulting services on subjects related to Diversity in the Workplace. John serves on the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, East Bay Metropolitan Unit; City of Oakland's Workforce Investment Board, and on the Board of Directors of the Lord Tennyson Apartments, Inc., a low-income apartment complex. John is also a past President of the National Naval Officers Association (NNOA) a not-for-profit representing the career interests of Minority Sea Service and current Vice President of the local NNOA Chapter. Moreover, he is an active member of First African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Ronald D. Porter, Sr. - CEO, President

Founder and President of RDP Consulting Services in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ron Porter is an internationally recognized consultant, facilitator, trainer, and speaker whose expertise focuses on developing strategies to address complex issues of racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity in the workplace and the classroom. His firm designs structural programs that link diverse segments within communities, schools, business organizations, government, and non-profit organizations. The firm also works extensively with educators in public schools to increase understanding of diversity and develop strategies to improve educational outcomes for all students. Ron is a frequent speaker at conferences locally, nationally, and internationally on issues related to ethnic, cultural, and racial diversity. He has spoken at conferences in England, Ghana, South Africa, and Ethiopia. As an adjunct instructor of multicultural management at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz School of Public Policy and Management, Ron is serving in his tenth year of teaching the course Managing in a Multicultural Society.
