COUNTRY RIDGE - Key Persons

Fernando has been the Stable Manager for Country Ridge Stables and has lived with his family on the property since its inception in 2006. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Fernando has more than 30 years of experience as a Barn Manager/Head Show Groom for many top Hunter/Jumper stables in Illinois. He oversees every aspect of horse care for all Country Ridge Schooling and Santowski owned horses from scheduling daily turnouts, overall maintained grooming, and general medical care as needed. In addition to his expert knowledge of horses he manages the additional Country Ridge Staff and works closely with FHF trainers and employees to ensure both businesses run cohesively and maintain open communication. He also oversees the nightly check on all horses boarded on the property. He is an irreplaceable asset to the barn, overseeing and collaborating with facility management and maintaining equipment to keep the days running smoothly. With his attention to detail, high level of organization, and a winning attitude we appreciate his hard work everyday!
