Aimal Wardak

In 2006, Aimal Wardak graduated from South Texas College of Law. Aimal has spent 17 years representing clients in a range of civil litigation matters including product liability, premises defects, construction defects, and insurance defense. Aimal has handled over one-hundred Landlord-Tenant trials. He is licensed to practice law in all Texas state courts and the Federal Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern District of Texas. Aimal routinely handles matters in both Federal and District court. When he is not litigating, Aimal enjoys attending local sporting events, traveling, and anything related to the University of Texas Longhorns.

Brandon P. Tiedt

Mr. Tiedt joined The Cweren Law Firm in August of 2015. Mr. Tiedt is responsible for billing, accounting, marketing, office management and attorney legal support. Mr. Tiedt graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2015, with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration. While at Texas A&M, Mr. Tiedt was a member of Kappa Alpha Order's Epsilon Delta Chapter. Mr. Tiedt was involved in multiple extracurricular and volunteer activities such as The Big Event, Aggieland Humane Society and The Brazos Valley Food Bank. Mr. Tiedt is a born and raised Houstonian. In his free time, Mr. Tiedt enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing sports, fishing and watching the Astros, Rockets and Texans.

Brian P. Cweren

Mr. Cweren founded the Cweren Law Firm in 2000 and has been very active in the multi-family industry since that time. Mr. Cweren is a second-generation, native Houstonian. Mr. Cweren learned the values of hard work, integrity and helping others from his family. Mr. Cweren's father started his own business in the scrap metal business; this allowed Mr. Cweren to see first-hand the virtues of responsibility and working long hours to get the job done right. Mr. Cweren founded the Cweren Law Firm in 2000 and has been active in the multi-family industry since that time. Mr. Cweren has handled over one thousand (1,000) trials throughout Texas - almost all in favor of the client. Mr. Cweren is also a frequent speaker and author in Texas Property Owner-Tenant law. At a recent speaking engagement, Mr. Cweren drew over five hundred paid attendees Mr. Cweren graduated from HISD's Bellaire High School. From there, Mr. Cweren studied at the University of Texas, achieving a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on real estate in 1994. In 1997, Mr. Cweren earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. Brian Cweren is a real estate attorney and commercial litigator who focuses his practice on the representation of multi-family and commercial building owners, developers and operators.

Mr. Fournier joined The Cweren Law Firm as an associate attorney in bringing with him a background in personal injury defense and civil litigation from his previous employment. While his legal practice at Cweren Law is mainly in residential and commercial real estate matters, Mr. Fournier has assisted and represented our clients with a wide variety of other legal matters including, but not limited to the following: entity formation, commercial disputes, and estate planning. Mr. Fournier is primarily responsible for our forcible detainer docket. He has successfully tried hundreds of forcible detainer ("eviction") lawsuits in a variety of Texas venues. Mr. Fournier serves as both a board member and the secretary for the Justice of the Peace Courts Section of the State Bar of Texas. He is a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Houston Bar Association. He is also a member of the Houston Apartment Association, as well as the Galveston County Apartment Association.
