I had an extensive career in the corporate world at AT&T, where I held a wide variety of managerial positions. Since I never quite felt totally fulfilled in my career, I promised myself I would try something different once my family was grown. I took an early retirement package in 1998 and embarked on a quest for a career that was truly meaningful. I particularly wanted to benefit others in a tangible way, using my experience and taking advantage of all the mistakes I had learned "the hard way" over the years... At first, I tried my hand at business consulting and then financial planning. While satisfying, I still felt there was something missing. Then I learned about Coaching as a profession through a friend who appreciated my interest and pleasure in mentoring and developing people in my managerial positions over the years at AT&T.
