Dr. Asgari graduated from dental school in 1993. He completed a two year residency in general advanced dentistry at Bucharest University. He was licensed by the Royal College of Surgeons of Ontario in 1998. He is also a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontics. He participates in regular continuing education programs. Dr. Asgari limits his practice to Endodontics (Root Canal therapy). He is married and the father of two children. His hobbies include cooking, racket ball and skiing.
Dr. Gavrilov was licensed by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario in 1998. She completed a mini residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, as well as a post-graduate program in esthetic dentistry at the University of Buffalo. Dr. Gavrilov is a strong believer in continuing education and frequently attends specialized training to further hone her dental skills. Advanced programs she has completed include a comprehensive implant training program at the Hands on Institute, four modules on comprehensive dentistry at the Pankey Institute, and continuing education seminars at the Periodontal Institute. Dr. Gavrilov currently practices general dentistry, where she finds her caring and empathetic approach to treatment much appreciated by her patients. Her patients can rest assured that Dr. Gavrilov will always treat their individual concerns with the highest level of both skill and compassion.
Dr. Safa has joined our team in 2006 in order to provide for your Periodontal and Implant related care. Dr. Safa brings with him over thirty years of experience. Upon completion of his dental degree, Dr. Safa continued his training in Periodontics at Eastman Dental Institute at London University, London, England. He has always had a keen interest in education. He is an Associate in Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto where he teaches graduate specialty students. Dr. Safa partakes in numerous continuing education lectures and seminars, always staying on top of advances in his field. He also has taken part in multiple implant seminars, including bone grafting and regeneration. Outside the office, Dr. Safa is an avid tennis player and loves to ski. He can also be found spending the weekends with his family, including his three grandchildren.
