DENIS

Denis is a psychologist and psychotherapist who has been working in Kilkenny for over three years. As well as a degree in psychology, Denis has postgraduate qualifications in psychodynamic and in systemic family therapy, and his approach to therapy is principally ‘solution focussed'. This way of working emphasises the present, and the way our current difficulties, whether they began in the past or not, are impacting on the present. The focus then is on identifying our own strengths and inner resources and using these to create the sort of future we hope for... Denis brings with him a deep respect for each person's own way of being in the world. He is very interested in recent approaches to therapy which enable clients to bring about change quickly.
