DENTON CITY CONTEMPORARY BALLET

The Denton City Contemporary Ballet (DCCB) is a non-profit 501(c)3 dance company founded by Artistic Director, Lisa Racina-Torre, in 1989. The company consists of dancers ages 13+ who demonstrate an advanced/pre-professional technique in ballet/pointe. DCCB is focuses on projects that will further the company's goals of community enrichment, professional development, and youth outreach... Denton City Contemporary Ballet (DCCB) was founded in 1989 by its Artistic Director, Lisa Racina. The company consists of 20 dancers (male and female) and is a Texas 501 C3 tax exempt corporation. The goals of DCCB are community enrichment, youth outreach, and professional development. It is with these goals in mind that the company sponsors the Annual Collage Dance Festival held each spring in downtown Denton's historic district at the Campus Theatre bringing together guest choreographers, companies, and artists to the stage along with the dancers in DCCB.
