DERMATOLOGY OF NORTH ALABAMA - Key Persons

Dr. Josh Wharton is a native of North Alabama. After graduating as Valedictorian from Arab High, he completed his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alabama and received his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed a one- year internship in Internal Medicine with Baptist Health Systems and a three-year Dermatology Residency at the Medical College of Georgia, where he served as chief resident. As a board-certified dermatologist and a desire to open his own practice, Marshall County is the perfect location. Dr. Wharton is a resident of Guntersville and is married to his college sweetheart, Natalie. They have two children, Madeleine and William..

Taylor Prince is a 2010 graduate of Guntersville High School. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University. Taylor has practiced since 2015 as a Registered Nurse with a background in intensive care and the emergency department. She received a Master of Science in Nursing degree at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Taylor is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is excited about her career here at Dermatology of North Alabama.
