Secure Information is intended to serve the same purpose as a personal home page or directory web page, except that key information can be verified as accurate. For instance, we can check identity and qualifications, and guarantee their accuracy to anyone accessing the information, e.g. a prospective employer or customer. The web page can also be used as an answer to the automatically-compiled directory services which often provide inaccurate or intrusive information: they are usually obliged to follow individuals' instructions to update or remove information, and they can be instructed to point to the secure page whose content you control, instead.
