Psychotherapy As a licensed psychologist, I provide Telehealth services to individual adult clients residing in California and Oregon. My approach is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which emphasizes that we are all born with a Self that has innate, healing capacities. Throughout life, we develop adaptive survival and protective strategies in response to the unique challenges and characteristics of our body, environment, family, culture, relationships, and life experiences. IFS involves building a compassionate relationship with these protective strategies, understanding their original intentions, and healing the wounds that once made them necessary. As we heal, we can release burdens that no longer serve us and reconnect with ourselves, others, and our environment in more meaningful, harmonious, and fulfilling ways.
