Jb started his career directing music videos and commercials for Crossroads Films before joining up with Drive Thru in 2004 where he continues to strive for creative originality, integrity and excellence. Over the past ten years, Jb has developed a strong reputation for having a unique style combining stunning imagery, subtle stories, and compelling performances.

Originally from the Twin Cities area, Nick ventured out to sunny Los Angeles to go to film school, where he earned his bachelor's degree in film production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts. Upon graduation, Nick returned home to Minneapolis and began his career at Drive Thru, where he has been steadily building a body of both commercial and long-form projects.
Before directing, Mike Nelesen, a college graduate with degrees in Literature, Theater and Communications, worked as a Grip, Dolly and Crane Operator, and Key Grip. The knowledge and experiences he obtained working in those capacities has made him the well-rounded, successful director he is today, directing television, cinema, and web-based content.
