The Delaware Valley Umpires Association was founded in 1945 by Walter Johnson, Tony Mascherin, Joe Courtney, and Dick Lee. DVUA is one of the most respected officiating organizations in New Jersey and serves public, parochial, and prep schools in the greater Mercer County area, providing baseball and softball umpires for levels ranging from middle school to high school varsity.
