DVUA

The Delaware Valley Umpires Association was founded in 1945 by Walter Johnson, Tony Mascherin, Joe Courtney, and Dick Lee. DVUA is one of the most respected officiating organizations in New Jersey and serves public, parochial, and prep schools in the greater Mercer County area, providing baseball and softball umpires for levels ranging from middle school to high school varsity. Using a strong professional development program and hands-on evaluations, umpires are trained in both classroom and on-field settings to become qualified varsity umpires... DVUA is respected and recognized by athletic directors, the NJSIAA and is in fact one of the most respected organizations in the State of New Jersey.
