Elkland Search and Rescue is an emergency response team who are trained in wilderness and remote emergency situations. We are a 35+ member strong team of dedicated individuals who train and strive to be proficient at outdoor emergency situations... Elkland Search and Rescue, located in Elk County in St. Marys in PA, is a volunteer emergency response team trained to help in wilderness and remote emergency situations. We are a QRS Service and a NIMS Level II wilderness search and rescue response team. Elkland Search and Rescue will provide wilderness medical response, evacuation equipment and trained members to rescue individuals that have been involved in accidents or have medical problems at remote locations. Members are trained in multiple search techniques to look for outdoor enthusiasts, children and persons with cognitive disabilities. Members are also trained and equipped to respond for wildfire fighting.
