Gage is an Energy Advisor for Energy Select in Leonardtown, MD. He was born and raised locally here in St. Mary's County. He went to Chopticon High School and went to college at the University of Maryland in College Park. During his college years, he would come back in the summer and actually install solar for Energy Select and then moved on to the position he's in now after he graduated. He's always loved working for Energy Select because it is a small, family-operated business that is local to his hometown. He really enjoyed not only working with his neighbors, but providing them with a service that saves them a lot of money in the long run! You're likely to catch him passing time at Swan Point, Breton Bay, Wicomico Shores, or any other local golf course for that matter!

Gary is an Energy Advisor. He lives in Leonardtown and grew up in Lusby catching lots of crabs every summer when he was young. When he was 13 years old, his family lost electrical power all the time. He had to get up very early to check my crab pots before school so he needed an alarm to wake up. He built a solar panel device that would make noise as soon as the sun would start to rise. Gary still goes crabbing on Breton bay getting between 12-24 crabs daily during the warm months. He jumped back into solar 6 years ago because solar prices dropped and the federal government now paying for 30% of your solar bill. It makes sense to go solar if you qualify. He graduated from St Mary's College in 1988. He believes buying local is very important. Gary enjoys saving people money. It is as simple as that. One of the most important things for him is that his company is local and we employ our workers. The owners really care about the environment by having a passion for excellence with everything evolved in our business.

Gregg is an Energy Analyst at Energy Select. Born and raised in Southern Maryland, he's a huge proponent of small business and thoroughly enjoys working with one that provides great benefits to our local community. He started working with Energy Select in 2016 and has spent his entire professional career here. After graduating Chopticon High School, he continued his education at University of Maryland. While attending university, Gregg was fortunate enough to still be involved at Energy Select, with his focus at the time being in home energy auditing. Since coming on board full time, he has stepped into a role heavily centered around evaluating home energy usage and evaluating how solar can help people save money and make a sound investment. Working for a company that provides meaningful services and products to our customers means a great deal to Gregg. While our approach helps individuals save significant energy and utility costs, our goal is to also improve our local community and the environment as a whole. His favorite part of the job is working with people in the local community and helping them achieve their goal of reducing their carbon footprint, while also saving significant money in the process.

Karen is an Energy Advisor for Energy Select in Leonardtown, MD. Her husband and her love attending Our Lady Star of the Sea on Solomons Island. They also love music and Joe on Piano at Charles Street is one of their favorites. Beyond that they very much enjoy boating on the Patuxent River. In her past life, she was a social worker but eventually wanted to focus on the environmental aspect of helping the planet. Karen has been selling solar for over three years now and absolutely loves it! Her favorite part of the job is all the wonderful people she gets to meet and helping explain all the benefits of going solar. Being local, Karen knows how important reputation is, so she is proud to stand behind the high quality that we provide.

Rodney Oates is a Cumberland native and an Allegany High graduate. Being born and raised here, having worked in the local community in sales for 17 years. Married with 2 boys, he is active in local sports programs for his sons, as he grew up doing the same playing in many local sports programs. His side hobbies have always been cars (being big into Mustangs) and motorcycles. And going to live sports games (all things Pittsburgh!) Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers. With his new career at Energy Select, the fact that he is truly helping people save money is great while making the world's environment better one day at a time!
