At Engage Connect we believe that behaviour communicates and if we 'listen' to what is being said, many challenging behaviours can be turned around. At the centre of our training we engage with staff using Engage Connect's Systems Based Model. We can explore client and staff behaviours against the structure of an organisations policies using this model and show how it applies to the day to day work of staff. We will look at what we can do and what we shouldn't do when working with people who have challenging behaviours and explore the DECAF model of communicating with clients and staff.
