Allison Beckham

Allison graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Finance and was an NCAA Academic All-American swimmer. She serves as a board member of The Woody Foundation and as a weekly volunteer in the Lotus House Children's Program. Allison is a member of the Financial Planning Association and a mentor for the CFP Board's WIN-to-WIN Women's Initiative program. She loves Miami, running, cooking, spearfishing, and spending time on the water with her husband (Will), their daughters (Mila and Grace), and their rescue dog (Honey).

Carlos A. Carbonell

Carlos A. Carbonell, CFA®, is an investment advisor and managing partner at Firestone Capital Management, Inc. He specializes in managing financial plans and concentrates his research on client portfolios, investment strategies, and financial markets. He is a member of the CFA Institute, and is affiliated with the local CFA Miami Society. Carlos graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in mechanical engineering and economics, and began his career in investments with Transamerica Asset Management in Los Angeles. By 2001, he transitioned back to Miami, focusing on wealth management for high net worth families at UBS PaineWebber and later Prudential/Wachovia Securities. He joined Firestone Capital Management in January 2004 and has been intimately involved with growing the many facets of the firm: new client relationships, investment products, client service, technology, recruiting, and leadership. His social and civic involvements have included Fairchild Tropical Garden, the Miami Marine Council, Ransom Everglades Alumni Board, the Historical Museum of South Florida, and C.R.E.W. Miami. He has served as a Palms board member and a Fellows donor, a treasurer for the Northwestern University Club of South Florida, and represented the firm as a member of the Executives Association of Greater Miami. He enjoys working directly with clients, and spending quality time with his family. He is married with two wonderful children and is an avid saltwater fisherman, appreciating the local waters from the Everglades to the Bahamas.

Carol G. Kaufman

Carol G. Kaufman, CFP®, is vice president and senior partner of Firestone Capital Management, Inc. She specializes in wealth management for high net worth families. She joined Firestone Capital Management in 1996. After earning her undergraduate degree in finance with high honors at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1978, she began her career as a commercial credit analyst and a commercial lending officer for the Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York City. Her clientele consisted of closely held businesses and professional corporations. She returned to the academic world several years later and earned her MBA with a concentration in accounting at Syracuse University in New York. While taking a career break to focus on raising three daughters, she enrolled in the University of Miami's program for personal financial planning. She became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ licensee in 1996. Carol is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Council of Jewish Women.

Jack M. Firestone

Jack M. Firestone, CFP®, is president and founding partner of Firestone Capital Management. He specializes in investment and retirement planning and asset management for entrepreneurs, owners of closely held businesses and other professionals. Before opening his own practice, Mr. Firestone spent five years as a partner of Evensky & Brown Financial Advisors. He earned his MBA at the University of Miami and his BA at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He has held the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation since 1988. He is active professionally as a member of the Financial Planning Association, and has served on the Charles Schwab Technical Operations and Support Advisory Board. Mr. Firestone has served as chief executive officer of several public organizations, including the Albany Symphony Orchestra, the Louisville Orchestra, the Florida Philharmonic, and PACE Concerts. Active in cultural affairs, he serves as an officer and is a founding board member of Miami Music Project. He has served on the Board of Governors and the Artistic Advisory and Marketing Committees of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, and has served as a board member of City Theatre and the Coconut Grove Association. He has been a national board member of the League of American Orchestras and a founding vice president of the National Committee for Symphony Orchestra Support.
