David (Dave) A. Rooks - VP

Mr. Rooks is the Vice-President of Fourth Factor Engineering, LLC. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aero-Manufacturing Engineering from North Dakota State University. He is a Certified Airframe and Powerplant maintainer by the Federal Aviation Administration. He is married and is the father of three children. Mr. Rooks was also an aircraft mechanic with the North Dakota Air National Guard for 14 years, and a commercial aircraft mechanic for several commercial airlines. Mr. Rooks has worked in the Specialty Engineering and Systems Engineering fields for the past 17 years. His primary emphasis is within the System Safety and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability fields, but is well versed within multiple specialty engineering disciplines and systems engineering requirements and architecture development. Mr. Rooks co-authored a paper that was presented at the System Safety Society conference, and has received multiple awards from previous places of employment for superior work efforts. Mr. Rooks holds multiple outside interests that include playing/coaching hockey and performing audio-visual design and assistance.
